no way in hell he's getting the job. he probably reached out and asked for an interview.

but still, :dead: @ the thought of Shaw getting passed up for Vinny The Black.

San Antonio Spurs assistant Brett Brown has emerged as a serious candidate for the Denver Nuggets' head-coaching job, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Melvin Hunt, who was part of George Karl's coaching staff, was also interviewed for the job, sources said. He's considered a future head coach in the league.

Brown was the fifth candidate to meet with the Nuggets after Hunt, Lionel Hollins, Brian Shaw and Vinny Del Negro.

The Nuggets had shown interest in Doc Rivers before he accepted the Clippers head-coaching job, league sources said.

Brown has been an assistant for the past seven seasons under Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. Before a promotion to the bench, Brown had been the Spurs' player development coach for five years.

With the Spurs' loss of assistant coach Mike Budenholzer to the Atlanta Hawks' head-coaching job, Brown has been expected to be promoted to the top assistant's job under Popovich.

Brown was the Australian national coach and led the Aussies to a strong showing in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He coached in the Australian National Basketball League for 14 seasons. In nine seasons as a head coach, he won 149 games – the sixth most in league history.

I like Barnes and hopefully gets better. Often times though, you will see players like him hit the Soph Slump after teams start keying in on him on defense.

But there's no way we can take on Iggy near the max with overpaid ass David Lee on the roster. But, Iggy is a solid player, and would be a huge upgrade on defense over Klay

Why do people think iggys gonna get near max money? I see him taking somewhere around 44-48 over 4 to either stay here or sign and trade to a good team. Only team I can see giving him near max money is Atlanta when they strike out on Dwight and cp3. Iggy only got a few years left I don't think he wants to waste em there
