Koufus wilted under the physicality and pressure of the playoffs for two consecutive years now. he's only built for the regular season and swapping him for Darrell Arthur was a good move. DA had the worst possible luck last season, dealing with an ACL injury/recovery and a bad back, and Hollins has a great way of destroying your confidence if you're struggling, but he's proven he can defend the p&r and consistently knock down shots from the top of the key. I think he's the perfect compliment to Faried @ PF.

yeah, I could see Dumars go full retard and max out Iggy. can't do much about that but wish dude the best of luck in his future endeavors and move on.

woj tweeted have we interested in Tony Allen. we'll take a hit offensively (Fournier's growth should offset that eventually) but TA would bring a level of toughness and heart we didn't have in the past. he wouldn't be the worst Iggy replacement.

That's what I was thinking. Fournier and Allen splitting time at the 2 shouldn't be THAT much of a downgrade from Iggy/Fournier. But it would be a lot cheaper and it should open up more PT for Fournier.

But if Allen signs somewhere else we get real thin on the wing until gallo comes back (assuming brewer is gone and miller is either gone or in a reduced role). I read that we were one of the teams interested in monta Ellis and most of the other teams only had the mmle. It would be nice to have a guy who can put up 20 but going from Iggy to monta turns the defense back to melo era awful

I'm not even that mad. Would've liked to have him back in the powder and gold, just wasn't meant to be.

Cons: we lose one of our most versatile players and our strongest perimeter defenders.

Pros: we don't have to pay 48 Ms over the next four years for a wing who shot 57% from the charity stripe and 32% beyond the arc.

We're fine, brehs. More time for Gallo/Chandler at the 3 and lots of opportunity for Fournier, Green, and J-Ham at the 2.
