True. There's this (can't think of the right word) stigma if you will, of when a young black man or woman who still lives with his kin, that their a failure or whatever. I agree, that the family unit is not what it once was. When everybody literally stayed in one big house, and if said family would go off to the military, the city, or work or college, then that's what it was. If it didn't pan out, "you can always come home" now,it's not "cool" to be staying with your kin whether you productive or not. I agree, but I feel its on us to help break the cycle somehow someway. Idk honestly man. Its not looking good at all tho.

This is a major problem. When I started working after college and was staying at home I definitely was treated differently for living with my folks while I tried to stack. Being in your mid 20s and living with your folks if heavily looked down upon especially by black people. Try hollering at professional black women and let them find out you still live at home with your parents....

One thing that would help is if we were more other cultures ain't didn't just throw out kids out to wolves at 18. So we can get our groove back or prove we still got it. It's a tuff world. As long as your son/daughter is productive let them live with you. Give them the opportunity to stack they cheese up. Don't throw them to the wolves 10k in debt from going to college struggling to find a job IF they completed it or working to make ends meet if they Didn't. Lose the who. WELL I MADE IT attitude. because times are different. Gone are they days are graduating HS and finding factory work for 18-20/hr.

Sorry to break it to you but our people are not going to turn around in this country. Its been almost 400 years since slave ships arrived here. We have been socially engineered by Babylon into the mindset that we are in today. Everything is being reinforced on our people by mass media and the vast majority of our people are not aware or could care less to be aware even when warned. I do not think we understand the amount money and energy thatvis invested to get the outcomes that you see in our people today. That is why I am thoroughly convinced that we will need a Great Delivery to carry us out of this condition that we are in. I mean at some point, our people have to realize that there has be something deep down inside that we have and have inherited as a people that a group of people that have the world in their hands spend every waking hour on trying to destroy us.

Thank you for sharing that with me. I see and hear it all the time. Its alot deeper than just going to a college, graduating, and getting married. In between all that, we have to start young. And instill our future children and grandchildren the values, and self sufficient, and focus, so on and so forth. I know its easier said and done but my baby sister a baby out of wedlock, and I understand life don't go as planned, we all make mistakes and stuff. I look at her in tell my sister that its time to break it. One at a time . No matter the influence or temptation we face, we have to stay positive and change the game.

i really aint even wanna argue with you
but yes certain cutures have higher values of success more than others
i dont know where to begin
everybody thinks that the people that leave their country to come to america are some broke ass refugee type status lol
man
...you're clueless

That's the rich part. That's definitely not the area where the "untouchables" live.

To the bold, that definitely plays a role in immigrant success. I've never met an "untouchable" India in America. They've all been Brahmin or very close to it. I'm not going to say they all come here rich, but they typically come here relatively better off than many.

looking back when i was young, i would clown migos for being 8-10 deep in one crib. as i got older i realized how many cars were outside their crib, how much bread they were probably all stacking. they would all be working saving. then they bought the house right next to them..... then the one down the street until they owned 4 houses on the block. nikkas never wanna help each other. give a nikka an inch they take a god dam mile. cant tell you how many times i heard " i cant wait till yo ass turn 18 so you can leave" :snoop: not only to me, but to many of my friends as well. i have never seen a spanish or indian/asian parent threatening or wanting to kick their children out to be independent and "do them". in fact their parents often get mad if they try to leave. shyt just makes me sad for real. im paying some old lady 600$ a month to live because my mom kicked me out. thats 600$ i could of been giving her or saving:manny:. i swear on everything if i ever won the lotto... id make a lot of people in my life pay. ill never make my future children go through this stupid shyt.

I hate surveys like this. Most are coming here because they have a good education. Its not like every Indian has this level of education or is smart. Then if you come here because you are an engineer or professor, your kids are likely to get a good education and job as well. Its no secret or special recipe for success. Its American socioeconomics for all races.

Indians, like most Asian cultures, place a huge value on education. Second, Indians are not bound by capitalism based western practices like pushing your kid out of the house by 18. They usually live with their family until they are married. In India, a lot of times they didn't even get their own house. They added a room on to the family house. In America, a lot of times they stay with their parents until marriage. This saves a TON on rent and if they are pitching in finances, they are helping to pay off their parent's house instead of giving it to some landlord who couldn't care less about you. Ultimately, this gives them a huge chunk of savings which they can pool with others to invest in businesses.

Pretty much the reason I am educating myself to get something together and putting my family, immediate family, on to the hustle.
We all have talents and can make this shyt happen. I stopped making excuses for this shyt long ago. These people
getting it with sacrifice. A family structure. We argue over the finer details of shyt when the blueprint is right the fukk
there.

:yeshrug:But hey, life is more fun when you scour the internet for black people taking the L and base your life
around that.
