i guess in some people's eyes a "legit" tag team is one that makes a serious run in the tag division.

the megapowers might have been a team but they never really competed in the tag division. macho and hogan were still largely singles competitors, and their opponents weren't demolition or the hart foundation it was other assembled teams like andre and dibiase or bossman and hakeem.

Their Summerslam main event against "The Mega Bucks" was a completely forgettable gimmick tag match. Ultimate Warrior was bigger than Hogan or Savage individually that year.

When it comes to tag wrestling, Hogan is a B+ player.
