Is HOGAN the only wrestler who has been a Tier ZERO babyface, heel, AND tag team competitor?

megapowers did 2/3 and Saturday Nights Main event were way bigger than raw and they had the biggest SNMEs ever.

They were bigger than the tag belts in 89

according to this thread
http://www.thecoli.com/threads/wwf-e-ppv-buys-from-1985-to-2012.6747/

Wrestlemania IV: 485,000 aprox.
Summerslam 1988: 400,000 aprox. (Mega Powers vs DiBiase & Andre)
Survivor Series 1988: 310,000 aprox.

1989:

Royal Rumble 1989: 165,000 buys aprox.
Wrestlemania V: 760,000 aprox. (Hogan vs Savage)
them dudes did serious business.

You don't even have to explain yourself when talking about the one true god of wrestling.

He's like Michael Jordan after him there will never be another.

I agree. Mega Powers existed in a time where weekly TV wasn't present so its hard to hold them to that standard. But best believe if they had weekly RAWs back then, they'd main event RAW for months with all kind of match stipulations.

That's why I was bringing up Rated RKO because as a main event Tag Team, they actually had a hell of a run on top. I can't think of many times in the modern era where tag teams main evented PPVs outside of them.

then he was in another tag team
then he was a face again
then he turned heel again
then he was a face again

Angle/Benoit tag run was more of a real tag team than the megapowers, but Angle as a tier zero babyface is questionable.

:laff: come on man

Bro, you're the one treating the Mega Powers' greatness like it's self evident.

I'm asking you, why is it self evident?

No tag titles.

Barely two non-consecutive years together.

No classics against the truly good tag teams of the day.

What's your case bro? :heh:

EDIT -- you're linking to PPV buy numbers from a different coli thread? Ain't no source for those numbers besides OP. I have a sneaking suspicion that those buys can be attributed to other matches on the cards, but that's for a later post.

Again...this is why when someone tries to say anyone but Hogan is the GOAT I laugh

Hmm..idk if Brothers of Destruction were ever on that level...they were more of an idea than an actual tag team
I can't argue with anything you've said regarding the Mega Powers but Taker is credible for the qualifications.

If not the Brothers of Destruction then when Stone Cold and Taker were a team. EVERYBODY was going for the tag belts and this was when the WWF started winning the MNW.... Rock, Owen, DX, Kane, Foley were all competing with Taker/Austin for the tag belts

and that alone can add Austin to the argument

nonetheless, can't disagree with anything you've said regarding the MP... doesn't get any bigger than Hogan/Savage except Austin/Rock and how rare is it that they even teamed together
