anybody saying eddy curry cant be taken seriously 
His defense is a huge concern I will admit that... I think alot of it is just effort and he could be in better shape. I think dude can become a decent defender one day.
Never all nba defense or anything but I think he can be alright on that end. If he goes to a coach that stresses defense he'll be ok on that end

Only 2 players in the lotto era have ever been chosen #1 overall and won a ring with the team that picked him. Robinson and Duncan. Only three others did it at all (LeBron, Shaq and Big Dog)
people overrate draft/lotto picks. its a shyt ton of luck when it comes to evaluating talent let alone draft selection.
His style of play screams Al Jefferson, very similar post up moves.

Two years removed from NBA ball but if he's healthy... I'd draft Okafor and sign up Emeka to be a mentor and teach his distant cousin some defense.

That was one of the huge knocks against Drummond coming out was that people thought he had no motor.But this is my point,DeMarcus Cousins,Big Al and Brook Lopez put up big offensive numbers but their teams suck in part because they don't play defense.The 20 points is great,but what about the rim protection ?
.Andre has a motor,Okafor does not.Drummond also avg nearly 3 blks per game,so he was a rim protector unlike okafor.This could be the reason for the low rebound totals..
Okafor scares me,he has the offensive talent,I think he will average 18-22 ppg,but damn...the defense and rim protection is non existent.Lets just look at the championship game,Okafor had 3 rebounds in 22 minutes and was getting killed by Frank Kaminsky.And notice after the game when coach kryxzyzxwaski was talking about players stepping up on defense,there was no mention of okafor.
