anybody saying eddy curry cant be taken seriously



His defense is a huge concern I will admit that... I think alot of it is just effort and he could be in better shape. I think dude can become a decent defender one day.

Never all nba defense or anything but I think he can be alright on that end. If he goes to a coach that stresses defense he'll be ok on that end

He reminds me of Eddy Curry more then anybody else..Eddy Curry was a beast on the block he just played under the rim and layed everything up, same with Okafor. Eddy Curry had All-star potential he just never really lived up to it.

I think Okafor will be a All-Star. I just wish he had that Shaq mentality of if im near that rim im dunking on somebody. Him laying everything up just like with Eddy Curry drives me crazy sometimes

He's a bad defender but I think that was common knowledge. Also, Kaminsky roams on the perimeter so I wouldn't necessarily expect Jahlil to contain him. It's like expecting Cousins to guard Bosh

I love these guys saying they wouldn't draft an Al Jefferson with the #1 pick.

Most years, except when there's a dominant prospect of the Lebron/Durant/Wiggins variety, if you told a coach "this guy will be Al Jefferson, guaranteed", then that guy will go #1.

Just look at the #1 picks the last 10-15 years and you'll see what I mean. Al Jefferson is better or at least equal to most of them.

The idea of a rim protector is pretty flawed too... Most of the teams with great rin protectors are pretty bad defensively.... Defense has to start in the oerimeter, not at the rim... I need my big to defend their man on the block more than try to block a wing at the rim...

Curry led the league in FG% a couple times, he was a beast scorer in the low post

About the same size as Okafor, with the same deficiencies

Its a very fair comparison, Eddy just had some mental/family shyt that dragged him down
