Mason Plumlee was ranked 55 in his class to compare some guys ranked the same in other classes

Nate Lubick

Prince Ebeh

Mike Rosario

Chris Wright

Donald Sloan

if anyhtign Plumlee overacheived in college

If you want to use biased arguments and act liek its all on the coach then one could say the fact that coach K "developed" him enough to get picked in the first round is a testament to him
Word? Because ESPN had Mason as the 10th best player in the class & Scout had his as the 18th best player in the class

If the kid is as good as we expect him to be then he'll dominate no matter what college he chooses cause he'll make the coach adjust the system for him. And let's be real. Out of all these recent draftees from Duke and Carolina I don't think anyone who say them play would have thought they were gonna be stars in the pros. Guys like Marvin Williams and Josh McRoberts should have been better than they were. And guys like Brand and Boozer actually have had some success in the Nba from a numbers standpoint. And the book is still out on cats like Henson and Zeller and the Plumlee brothers. But most of these cats like Psycho T and Shelden Williams were just overrated from the start and were destined to be journeymen.

I said he doesn't get GREAT, the word YOU used. Sure he gets talented big men, I've named at least a handful of 5* big men that haven't done shyt under K.

I never said he had to produce great big men, this had nothing to do with the NBA.

Since Tyler Hansbrough handed Sheldon Williams a L on Senior Night in '06 tell me what post players has K had that were any kind of threat in college basketball? Mason and then who?

You need to let us all know who the hell UNC has produced since then. Like, you jumping back and forth between college and pro achievement, tryna avoid the fact that UNC hasn't produced a quality big since Sheed, who by the way, didn't performe as well as Brand or Boozer as pro...unless you wanna say Jamison was a big, when he been shootin jumpers for 14 years. I'll even give you that.

What are YOU guys putting out? How is TWEENDOO improving? Remember him? Top 3 pick in 2012? Top 10 in 2013? Top WHO KNOWS, BUT HE GOTTA LEAVE in 2014?

You going through all this when Tyus bringing Oak wit him anyway. :umad:

I'm not jumping back and forth between college and pro success, thats you bruh.

Roy has had ALL of his 5* big men drafted in the 1st round so obviously he used them correctly at UNC. Zeller, Hansbrough, Davis, Marvin, Wright, Henson, May...all drafted 1st round, all did their thing at UNC. I cant imagine how they would've been used at duke.

Okafor is a name that is common among Igbos from nothern Igboland. Its like meeting black people with the last name Johnson. More than likely there was a man way way back in the day that had a whole bunch decedents which is why the name is so common. Some of their villages produce some big Lebron James looking dudes. Funny thing is Okoyes are from an area not too far from Okafors as well.

Igbo Kwenu :salute:

Are there alot of light skin folk among the Igbo? Cause it seems like most of the Igbo I've met here in the states are not as dark as the rest of the Nigerians.

Not really but moreso than not but it's always been like that. Nigeria is a smelling pot country that's a lot older than US in terms of the current residents but young as hell as the Brits created modern day Nigeria.
