I used a trimmer since I was a teen
I used to get a few bumps but I rarely get them since I changed my hygiene routine

Try exfoliating your beard area every night op

I'd suggest stop using razors or at the very least stop shaving so often.

It's probably your technique. I was the Razor bump/burn king. My beard fully grown would put Ross to shame. I would look like I'm in the taliban if i really grew my shyt out. My neck is still scarred up on my neck from it. I wasn't shaving with the grain. Haven't had an issue with shaving since I finally learned how to shave in my mid-30's.

let your face completely heal and dont keep shaving over the bumps

need to let those wounds close up and heal for at least 3-4 weeks and then start over

skin is irritated.....so it's too much or not enough

this is what I use, secret shaver during n bump fight after...cream is bump fighter it's just no label on it

gonna shave my beard and cut my son tomorrow I may update if I remember

You suggest any brands?
Andis T-Outliner is what I’ve been using for as long as I can remember. It’s also what many barbers use.

You could go less expensive and get something like this . You will have to replace the entire unit unit, bit the price is about what you’d pay for a replacement Andis blade.

The point is you want something that cuts close but not too close.

T outliner electric shaver and tendskin is what works for me. Even if I use a straight razor tendskin minimizes bumps. It's really good.

I had it after shaving and then aksu twice a day for 2-3 days after.
