willie d was the only cat to put rino on his album...just a hook..but he had sense to not let em rap..it would have been dope to have em on pass the piote with icey hott nem..
willie d kept k around all the time..hes in alot of willie's earlier video...he was all in the clean up man video...
k-rino n ricky royal in their primes would be a helluva battles...
alot of old heads said it happen soon as rick touched down in texas....back when premier was the dj at the rhinestone...that was in the early 80s..one of the reasons they got a deal at rap-a-lot n epic..

I can't hate on Bun-B. UGK is my favorite group of all-time but Pimp C was my favorite and you could tell once Pimp died, Bun got boring.
I would argue Pimp rapped as good as Bun on the first 2 albums and Ridin Dirty is where Bun really went to another level. He was still killing it on Ridin Dirty. I think he just went on such a grind with Pimp being in jail that he really used up all his raps. He's a grown man now and is really just rapping to keep up an appearance as a rapper. Bun solidified himself with the UGK run regardless. I think Pimp was significantly more important to the groups success and timeless sounds and hooks BUT, UGK would not have got nearly the exposure they got without Bun B riding for UGK his whole career.

bun had to grow on u in the beginning...he did with me...super tight is when i paid attention to em fully...he was like mjg to me..
mjg had to grow on me, because 8ball was wreckin...pimp was wreckin..pimp had the charisma..and attitude n stood out..
