The reason I say it depends, is what if they played mostly scrub bottom-feeder teams in those 16 games?

Im saying it dont matter who the opponents were, even if was 16 post season games its too small....Alot of mid level players can break out in small spurts....Knicks back up bum ass PF looked like an all star in a 40 game span 3 seasons ago....

God bless him and his people for trying to get it tho,i hope hes successful,i always ride with the players when it comes to getting every cent they can...

Is this what the NBA has come to. Play your heart out for one series and you're automatically a max player? :snoop:

James Harden fukked up the game something serious.

I seriously doubt SA gives him that money, but let's not foget Pop said he's out when Timmy's out, so the culture might change, unfortunately.

I hope he doesn't end up a 22 ppg max player on some random 8th seed.

Spurs are a .500 team without Leonard.... last year..

8-8 without him
54-12 with him.
In all fairness when Leonard sat out didn't Duncan, Parker, or Ginobli sit out too? Pop is always resting those guys together.

1) Did Loul Deng ever win a Finals MVP?

2) I would put money down that at some point Loul Deng requested a max from the Bulls
How much does that matter tho? It's about an overall body of work and future projection. That system made everyone look good. Defensively he did a damn good job.

I would say it adds to his value substantially

nope... he missed a month with a broken hand

to be fair, the Spurs had a bunch of injuries at the time to Splitter and Green too.... so they lost a bunch of their defense

if the spurs are willing to match whatever, why not just sign him for that now? lord knows he's gonna get a max offer...guess they're playing poker.

That type of thinking would've made the Suns overpay for Bledsoe and the Pistons overpay for Monroe.
