Dwyane Wade is likely to opt out of his final two seasons, at $41.5 million, and probably accept a deal from the Heat worth $50 million-$55 million over four years to help the team open up cap space. New York Daily News

If this is true, at least we know where Wade's head is at. He still wants to help this team win. Maybe Riles can talk him down just a little bit more. If not im perfectly fine with this deal.

Damn brehs, I came on here lookin for the Again... thread. :wow:

Now it may be that I'm currently flying like Ray Allen on the break right now but I just got this feeling Riley and LeBron gon build an Empire in Miami. :lupe:

Just getting sidekick after sidekick and winning championships with everybody. Wade and Bosh... and I got a feeling Melo is coming. :blessed: :salute:

But then I could see them adding Durant in 2 years. :ohhh:

Then another marquee player after that. In the end this will be about Riley, the architect. LeBron and Tha Don. That's the true duo. :banderas:

I believe Bron gon get them 7 too. Then they really gon be mad. :lolbron:

If Wade takes a $50 million/4 year deal, that's $12.5 million against next year's cap. I'm assuming Bosh takes a similar deal so that's $25 million between the both of them. Bron would probably sign something that starts at $15 million, so that $40 million for the big 3. Cole is the only one guaranteed at $2 million and if Haslem opts in we will be at $46 million.

Next years salary cap is projected to increase by $5 million so that will make it about $63 million. So that would give us $17 million to work with.

The summer should be an interesting one for former second overall pick Michael Beasley, who is a free agent and is not likely to return to Miami after a disappointing second stint with the club. NBA sources said James was not pleased with Beasley’s focus and he lost the confidence of coach Erik Spoelstra shortly into the season. In one sequence that typified his career, Beasley swooped in for a tip-dunk in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. On the Spurs’ next possession, Beasley got lost on a pick-and-roll, allowing Diaw an open 3-pointer, which of course he swished. Beasley is likely to get a one-year deal on the open market and his past year in Miami did little to help his reputation Boston Globe

Bye Beas, it was fun.

I can see him on a team like that doesn't have much talent and could use a scorer next year. Wouldn't be surprised if he is on the Bobcats.

I don't know how much stock to put in this. One hand I always saw LeBron communicating with Beasley on the bench, on the other hand I saw he'd get visibly frustrated by some of the things he did on the court. Ultimately you've got to be able to find a role for everyone on the team. I thought Spoelstra could've utilized some different lineups throughout the regular season that would protect Beasley defensively and allow him to do what he does best on offense. I also don't think his future should be decided on LeBron's terms.

I agree with you, Beasley's return is more on Spo & Riley than on Lebron. He should of played more but for whatever reason, he could never figure out how to stay focused on defense. So I don't expect him back in Miami.
