I don't know how there were mixed people born in the 50's and 60's. You were literally risking your life to PAWG.

Edit: I'm not implying in any way that is what Emmitt was doing. He clearly wasn't. But in general, dudes going after white women back then was a deadly proposition.

well to be fair, the link to the VF article is from yesterday and the case was re-examined because there was a book coming out

i thought most black people knew that the story was BS. the kids that were with emmitt pretty much said he didn't do anything to this woman

but i am not surprised that most whites wouldn't know the story because they are ignorant and isolated about stuff like this because they can afford to be

If it's one thing that the average basic nikka loses all rationale in regards to, it's white women. I guess they don't really be around these people to see they're different from how they're portrayed in the movies.

Once had a close homeboy to me tell me with a straight face that he wanted a white woman to call him a ****** during sex to improve race relations. :francis:

this was a good article. thanks for this.

EDIT: on second thought nah, I aint messing with this article. The second half, trying make her seem like some poor old woman whos learned from her past :hhh: & trying to elicit some type of sympathy for her.

Especially this part - Still, no author save Tyson has ever interviewed Carolyn Bryant Donham. (Her ex-husband and brother-in-law are both dead.) “That case went a long way toward ruining her life,” Tyson contends, explaining that she could never escape its notoriety.

“She was glad things had changed [and she] thought the old system of white supremacy was wrong, though she had more or less taken it as normal at the time.” She didn’t officially repent; she was not the type to join any racial reconciliation groups or to make an appearance at the new Emmett Till Interpretive Center, which attempts to promote understanding of the past and point a way forward. :gucci:
