Me and mom tried for 2 hours to check on prices for Obamacare. The fukking website was compeltely disfunctional, and wouldn't allow her to submit her application! This crap website is still broken after all this "tech surge" bullshyt.

I went over her house today after she called me to help her sign up. We failed miserably. This entire Obamacare fiasco has been a complete disaster honestly.

Obviously, universal healthcare for all is a good thing. There have definitely been some huge missteps on the part of the team who was supposed to have this set up. I am hopeful this gets worked out amongst all the bad press, after all the end result is healthcare for everyone!

I had an aunt die of cancer because there was no money to cover her treatment (chemo, pills, etc). I think had universal healthcare been available she would still be alive.

Universal healthcare is typically recognized as the government sponsored health care like in Canada or the UK not government mandated health insurance like what the ACA is.

Yes, that was what I meant to say.

Yes, anyone today can go into an Emergency Department and get treated. Difference is, if you have a terminal illness good luck getting treatment to save your life. If you do not have insurance, you will not get treatment, just a stabilization and out the door you go until you die.

Bottom line the website has made significant improvement. Whichever way you want to determine the significance of the improvements is all a matter of spin

Its not spin if people are completing their insurance selection and seemingly successfully filled out all the forms yet the insurance companies are not being sent that info and have no record that these people chose their insurance plan.
The back end is all that really matters about this site...stripping out all the CSS and having a site full of plain old forms would be better than a pretty website that doesn't work on the back end.
