i dont give a fukk about that stupid ass article. elite players need the ball in the final moments.
and if you think melo isnt elite we shouldnt be talking.

Take low percentage jumpers in one point games brehs

And the second factor, which is even more important: where the attempts came from. (Both were long two-point shots.) Anthony's lone clutch basket this season—a game-winning layup against Atlanta—came on the one shot he took from inside the paint. His nine other clutch attempts, all misses, came from outside the paint.

Over the past three seasons, Anthony has fared worst in the clutch (36%) when shooting from midrange. That is a considerable drop-off from the 50% he has hit on layup attempts, or even the 44.4% he has shot from three-point range, where he presumably has more space to shoot.

Knicks need to try to keep as much of the core as possible and get another legit second option. Imagine if they had a guy like marc gasol or kevin love who if they passed the ball inside could take an easy shot in the post. it would make a lot of shyt easier.

But with that said it sucks they lost but dudes went out there and didn't bytch out and get played while on the road. for game 2 out of 82 i aint too mad about it

Love would take the same shot Melo took. He just wouldn't wait to do it. Last night down three he caught it, set his feet and shot it. Love won't be in the post late in games unless he's getting a board.

Gasol and Pekovic on the other hand may give Melo 6 dimes a night.

you know what the fukk i meant....not an on ball pick and roll...
have melo runthe baseline...come off on a off ball screen...shyt thats not that obvious.
running a pick and roll with melo at the top of the key has the attention of the entire defense.
you running a pick and roll with carmelo who's not a GREAT play maker for others against one of the top 3 pick and roll defenses in the league is idiotic and stupid.

With 5seconds on the clock, against the Bulls defense. Really?

Bottomline is Rose hit his shot and Melo missed his. shyt happens. Thibs didn't draw up Rose's shot. On to the next game. Niccas want to act like bytches over a 1 point loss. Go ahead.

woodson should put melo in better positions to take higher percentage shots....and it's not that difficult either.

on an in bounds in the half court?

:dahell:

close game youre either settling or driving with under 7 seconds

it was 10 seconds when rose got the ball...5 seconds after his shot went in...
i have no doubt thibs put rose into a position where he can get that floater shot he loves off...or to get fouled in a driving situation.
melo got the ball dumped to him 25 feet away from the rim...and was told to take the screen or not. 5 seconds.

I've been saying this shyt since last year that they need to find better ways to get Melo the ball under than isolation. It's so fukking blatantly obvious.

Easy play to run.

Bargnani or Shumpert catch the ball on the baseline, Melo cuts to the basketball from up top. Feed him on the run. Worst case scenario he gets fouled as long as Chandler's on the other side of the basket

honestly though, what is woodson telling the team to do in that timeout? Just give the ball to melo? fukk outta here man run a damn play to get him a better shot....and this dude was letting ron go buck for a minute there too. Get a hold of the team, damn.

positives are hardaway is looking real sharp, I like how he carries himself. bargs is getting more comfortable and the team seems keen on getting him looks. chandler looks to be back in form.
