:sadcam: That was painful L to swallow brehs.
Bruh...

Off of a back - to - back, away at a rival's arena..

And we only lose by one... A circus shot that could go anyway.

The loss hurts, but we are right there in terms of competing w/ the East.

Melo's spread... 22 pts, 6 rbs, 6 assists, 6 stls. I can live w.

The problem, Melo isn't playing his game comfortably. He's is trying to hard to get his teammates involved offensively.

Case in point, When the game was tied 80-80.. Melo drove to mid range, and instead of doing the pull up jumper, he passed it into the paint to Chandler...who fumbled it out of bounds.

Once Melo gets comfortable, we'll be eating. Driving into work today I wanter to reach through my radio and strangle Boomer & dude from the Mike and Mike show who were just dogging Melo.

IF that game was in the Garden and we had a day in between, that'd be a W for us.

I still say give Bargs 10 games. He helped us big in the 3rd. Felton did great. Not only that, that 4th Quarter stifling defense? :blessed:

I'm very happy w/ this team. But I won't lie... the loss fukked my whole night up...only because I knew the fallout was goign to come...as if Melo has a history of NOT being clutch. :beli:

I meant Painful in terms of HOW we lost, and not that we lost... Give Rose that same shot, same defense and i guarantee you he makes 1/10 every time. When that shot went in I had the :beli: face on..

This nikka Rose shot 7 for 23 with 4 TO's and 3 dimes...If Melo turns in that performance they'd be tearing him a new one even if he makes the game winner. Melo filled up the stat sheet and all they wanna talk about is his missed shots :troll:

We gotta stop turning that rock over. And we miss JR badly :sadcam:

Knicks about to lead the league in moral victories again?

What a humbled fanbase.

why are they turning the ball over so much
People not in correct position.

Chemistry not completely there.

Certain players not moving w/ confidence and purpose (Stat & Bargs)

People not expecting passes from Melo (T. Chandler)

Pick & Rolls being broken as a result of these lame, soft as baby shyt picks. (Bargs looking at YOU)

I don't have ANY problem with the way Melo played last night. He filled it up; and he was passing..looking for the cutting man every time...he was digging in on defense...even had a block... I wish people would stop taking Melo's triple-threat as being a ball stopper. He and Lebron are like the only two players that still use that ancient device. Melo's shot isn't dropping but that will change. And he was trying to get his shot in different ways (pull-up; catch and shoot; from the blocks). I am noticing that he doesn't have very much lift around the basket these days.

Our problem is just as I predicted. We need bigs who can score...or at least one big. Amare types are the reason I prefer skill players over strictly athletic; his athleticism is gone so he has nothing to offer. Sheed and Kurt were giving more in 5-10 minutes than he is. We need someone who can score in the post other than Melo...and someone who can make an entry pass wouldn't hurt either. There were several plays in which Melo was posted and had to step off his block to come get the ball. JO would've helped us, Horford, Ivan Johnson... any big that score even remotely around the basket. Hell, they can scope up Hakim Warrick if they want better hands from an athletic that's still mobile. Without size we have no shot this year.

AS HE SHOULD...HES EARNED THAT...
but if mike woodson could be a little bit more original with the WAY the ball enters melos hands we would be way more efficient in the clutch
look at the celtics the last 5 years....YOU KNEW more than likely who was taking the last shot....but the way paul pierce got the ball (ray allen to a lesser extent) wasnt completely obvious and the ball went in and out of his hands from putting the ball on teh ground to putting it in the hoop in 4 seconds or less.
they're giving melo the ball to run the clock down then call the OBVIOUS ass screen...you can see why melo would turn it down...CAUSE all that would happen on that play if he did take the screen would be him getting doubled.
A bit of subterfuge would go a long ways. This nikka Coach Suge acts like Melo is a sledgehammer. Needs to be used more like a chisel

Excuse? The fukk are you talking about.

It is a factor that affects some aspect of one's game.

Relax yourself. Nobody is looking at this game like Chicago should have an asterisk next to their win.

Did I come in here and say, "Things would have changed if they would have called that clear path foul earlier." That'd be an excuse, but I'm not about that. shyt happens in a game, all I'm saying is, death and gloom shouldn't be the consensus for the performance last night.

:lupe:

Uh...

Am I still making excuses, friend? I sho hope not. :rudy:

First,
22 Points on 24 shots. That's not alright.

And second, the problem wasn't trying too hard to get teammates involved. It was the Luol/Jimmy and Noah - or at least the fear of noah - had him take two shots from around the basket. Of 24. He got pestered into/bullied into long jumpers all night, settling often for quick pulls off a pass or handoff with a hand in his face.

Melo couldn't drive the basket because the defense would of collapse in on him. Also, it's not like Melo has a super quick step where he can get to the rim at will like D Rose.
