There one of the weirder teams I've ever seen. They could have won all those games and they also could have very easily lost all the games they won.
Yeah.

But I think somebody deserves credit for having Stafford throwing fewer INTs, and 9 wins is 9 wins.
Every one of his losses was to a solid team, except for the Bears.

The Titans, Giants and even the Texans have tough defenses.

A guy who loses 4 straight to crappy John Harbaugh can't be a great coach

Beating the Steelers is Ratbirds Superbowl. I'll give them a sweep every year if it means they stop beating their fat wives after a loss and have to sit at home watching us in the playoffs.

Tomlins teams haven't played much defense

Front office made a gamble years ago to hold onto old players for another SB. Didn't pan out and we paid for it for a few y ears. We have lots of good young talent back on the team now.

I hate the Steelers but their fans hate for their coach and the blatant disrespect they constantly show him fukking disgusts me. As a Bengals fan I would fukking LOVE to have him over Marvins content ass. fukk them and their fan base. They don't deserve him.

Disclaimer: not the coli brehs who know how good they have it. The mouthbreathing rednecjs who attribute any mistake with that team to Tomlins supposed ineptitude

Tomlin biggest issues as a coach is his inablity to get his team to beat obviously inferior teams. You can guarentee that every season the Steelers will lose to a Jets or Raiders type team having a struggling season. That, plus a recent history of less than stelar draft picks and a inabilty to get his players to play disciplined is why some Steelers fans dislike Tomlin. They kind of long for the hard nose attitude of a Cowher, but when he was coaching the fans had their fair share of complaints about him as well.

Tomlin is a good coach, bordering on great. The fact that hes never had a losing season is reason enough for me to say his job should be secure, Steelers fans are just spoiled though. While other teams have expectations of making playoffs, Steelers expectations are Super Bowl victory or bust.. and of course those are too lofty of expectations to live up to for any coach sans Bellichick

That inbred Redneck is just talking shyt. Head coaching is not just x's and o's. Its about managing egos, knowing when and where to say certain things, choosing players that fit your system, etc etc. Obviously Mike Tomlin is doing something right. You dont win at the rate he does just by holding a clipboard. Ive seen so many hotshot genius gurus who couldnt coach their teams anywhere near the heights that Tomlin did.

Coaching is a good ole boy network. Slapping backs and yucking it up on the sidelines during Two-a-days with has beens like Bradshaw doesn't seem to be Tomlins forte. He also doesn't look the part. I bet you he wouldn't have a problem with him if he looked like this

Cowher was a choker he lost what was it 4 home AFC title games in his tenure he really lucked out in 05 I thought he was overrated as fukk

Swear on my life I get into arguments with Steelers fans over two things...Cowher being a bonehead (gets up by ten in the second quarter and thinks he can win by running three straight plays and punting the rest of the game) and Bradshaw being an overrated QB who threw the ball up (Flacco) and let his receivers go get and relied on his defense WAY MORE than Roethlisberger.

Crazy as fukk that any team outside of the Patriots would take this dude but he says this bullshyt.

You're just talking shyt. Tomlin's defenses points ranking and total yards rankings for his time in Pitt:

2007 - 2nd/1st
2008 - 1st/1st (the 2008 defense was an all time defense, too)
2009 - 12th/5th
2010 - 1st/2nd
2011 - 1st/1st
2012 - 6th/1st
2013 - 14th/13th
2014 - 18th/18th
2015 - 11th/21st
2016 - 9th/8th

That's 5 top 10 finishes in points, and 7 top 10 finishes in yards. 4 top 5 finishes in points, and 6 top 5 finishes in yards. And they're currently top 10 in each category right now.

I'm telling you right now if you go back and look at the stats you will realize that those stats are because of who we played. Look when we played against good QB's they torched us.

Pittsburgh has benefited like a muthafuka because of our division, when we played good quarterbacks we got roasted. Our defense has always been built to have great defensive ends and linebackers to make up for the weaknesses we had in the secondary. Ever since Lake and Woodson bogoodd our secondary had been trash, we looked good because of our Dline (Smith was so fukking underrated) was so good that they could pressure, with that the QB had to get rid of the ball quicker which meant that even an open receiver could catch because he hadn't finished the route.

When we got to the Superbowl against the Packers I talked shyt all season about how bad we were and that the stats ain't mean shyt because Rodgers was gonna eat good and look what happened.

Basically good Cline along with some good/great linebackers can make you look like a great defense.

Look at what happened in Superbowl 43 when Arizona got protection and Warner had time to throw the ball...damn near lost that game but on that last drive we were able to get pressure and cause the sack/fumble give that man two/three more seconds and Fitz is probably open somewhere and Holmes catch me and nothing.
