I'd say that Rubio is clearly limited offensively but, when healthy, surrounded by adequate talent, and locked in, he's a difference-maker. BUT, unlike Rondo, he's never showed that he can dominate a game/series or lead his team. And he's a turnover machine, at least more so than Rondo. He's a poor man's Rondo who's a poor man's Kidd.

Here's the thing, I don't like any of the PGs you've named. I don't like Rondo, I don't like Rubio, I don't even like Elfrid Payton...so why would it be such a surprise to people I wouldn't like Kidd? I'm not even a big fan of Chris Paul and he shoots a solid percentage, I just do not like "true PGs" at all.
