Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
In 2012 the Knicks won 54 games and was the 2nd seed with Jason Kidd as the PG

In 2013 they didn't even make the playoffs after Kidd retired.

Close thread for the 100th time.

:mindblown:

This is what the Coli does, it takes a player and turns two different parts of their career into one and then acts like that is what they always were. Kidd with the Knicks could play off the ball and function as a spot up shooter, Nets Kidd couldn't do that nevermind the fact he only started 48 games.

I thought his numbers from last season were very inflated, mainly by the pace the Kings played at, which like a typical George Karl team was the highest in the league. His 3 point shooting was much improved this season, yes, but his FT shooting was atrocious to point where it made him a liability and it was like that in Boston before he got traded too. His defense is overrated, he plays matador defense trying to gamble for steals and has been skating by on reputation for years. I don't care about his rebounding numbers. If my PG can get boards then that's a nice luxury, but it doesn't make or break my opinion on them. And for all this talk about him being the ultimate floor general, the Kings were the 16th ranked offense this season. Last season without Rondo, they were 16th.

At this point in his career he's a below average starting PG. There's a reason why Boston traded him for backups (at the time) and a late 1st. There's a reason why Dallas let him walk for nothing. There's a reason why the Kings won't commit to bringing him back and have the mindset that he's not even worth getting into a bidding war over.

So how do you reconcile all of this with the fact that he led the league in assists by a good margin (on the Kings, no less), was 7th in steals per game, and is still a great play-maker?

Take away the two finals years what are the win/loss comparison looking like?

Nah Kidd would have Carrol & Ross looking like borderline All stars. Lowry game actually hurts some of the role players.

Would Kidd lose playing time to Cory Joseph in the playoffs?:usure:

So, do you want Rondo to replace D'Angelo? :jbhmm:

:dwillhuh: You can't even back that up.

He was traded because his ACL injury effects and Danny Ainge wanted to blow up everything from the big 3 era.

Rondo left Dallas on his own terms. We all know the narrative. We heard it on espn like everybody. He trolled Rick Carlisle. And I guess GS stats are all very inflated too huh

You standing on thin ice with your reasoning breh. Gonna have to end it here. Easily Top 10 at his position :manny:

The Kings played at the fastest pace in the league :wtf: his numbers were definitely inflated, he's playing for a contract.

Rondo is not top 10 at PG :dead:

Teams averaging 91ppg in playoff games while shooting 43% from the field is better than today?

Only on the Coli is the dark ages of basketball like the early 2000s revered :mjlol:

Teams have 76 to 77 OT games and shyt those were the good ole days :dead:

nikka called the Early 2000s the Dark ages lmao :mjlol:

What are you even saying man.

Teams scoring low and winning, :ohhh:oh, like your Spurs teams? :yeshrug:

Shut up, tahm bout 39%

Like Prime Westbrook ain't lead the league in scoring shooting 42%.

Like Paul George ain't shoot 41% this year.

Like Lebron ain't shoot 40% all last year in the Post Season.

I could go on... But you a bytch tho.

Couldn't care less about his empty assist #'s

Like I said he plays matador defense and gambles for steals. Steph Curry led the league in steals, I'm sure as fukk not gonna say he's a good defender.

Great playmaker supposedly but his team's offenses are routinely average at best

To be fair, after the Big Three, dude was virtually playing with shyt (save Dirk, and even then, he's a defensive liability).

I just think it's a unfair, unrealistic and harsh indictment to say that a point guard who led the league in assists and notched 6 boards/game is a below-average point guard.

Mrs. Cum with her shytty arguments with no thought process behind them.

The Spurs went through the WCF and almost always had a top 10 offense.

Westbrook shot 45% on the season, he can actually finish at the rim.

Paul George shoots a lot of threes, yet he still shoots a better percentage from the field than Nets Ason Kidd.

LeBron averaged 30ppg on 42% from the field in the playoffs, not "40%"

I didn't say he was a below average point guard, I said below average starting point guard
