He had a game like this against the Cavs in 2016 (early in the series), and then he was pretty much unstoppable for the rest of it. It's just the player he is.No doubt Lower is better offensively/better shooter, which makes his timidness down the stretch tonight all the more frustrating.
They would still find a way to lose.. Probably to the Wizards or CelticsThis Raptors squad would run a train on those early 00s Nets teams. Matter of fact, if it weren't for the LeBron/Cavs, the Raptors would've already been/going to multiple Finals. It just seems as though they can't break through mental wall of beating this Cavs team, but we shall see how the rest of the series pans out.
Unless LeBron/Kyrie would be on those Wizards or Celtics teams, how do you figure that? Especially since they just knocked out the Wizards in the first round, comprehensively....They would still find a way to lose.. Probably to the Wizards or Celtics

It’s better to forget the eastern conference from when after Jordan retired and before Shaq was traded to Miami. Worst time period the league has seen since the 70’s and easily the worst state any conference has been in for an extended time. Detroit averaged 83 points in 2004 against the nets and 75 against the pacers, and won both series![]()
How is that relevant?I mean yeah, but... The Nets WON that series.![]()
I doubt you were even watching the NBA during the early 00s.....getting exposed as usual...

True, but this game was crucial. Can't give these away in the playoffs. He had a game like this against the Cavs in 2016 (early in the series), and then he was pretty much unstoppable for the rest of it. It's just the player he is.
I don't remember the game so all I saw was a boxscore where Kidd, a notoriously bad shooter, shot poorly in a series he won. I'm assuming there were a lot of those. How is that relevant?

The Raptors just won 59 games this season and built a team that is constructed to make the finals. The Wizards are an 8th seed after one of their more disappointing seasons in recent memory. The Raps exorcised their demons this season and finally won a series they were expected to win pretty comfortably. But I don't believe the Raptors would have already been to multiple finals if Lebron wasn't in the East. They lost in 2014 as the favorites in the first round, they got swept in 2015 as the favorites in the first round, and advanced after two seven game series in the first round in 2016 and 2017.Unless LeBron/Kyrie would be on those Wizards or Celtics teams, how do you figure that? Especially since they just knocked out the Wizards in the first round, comprehensively....

Would those 00s Nets squads be able to beat the Cavs in the past 2-3 seasons?Y’all are high if taking a player that took two teams to the finals alone and another as a captain over a really good player they can’t get over the hump. Do y’all not remember the 03 Finals

I doubt you were even watching the NBA during the early 00s.....
2016 - they lost to the Cavs in the ECF - almost guaranteed to make FinalsThe Raptors just won 59 games this season and built a team that is constructed to make the finals. The Wizards are an 8th seed after one of their more disappointing seasons in recent memory. The Raps exercised their demons this season and finally won a series they were expected to win pretty comfortably. Yes, they took the '16 champions (Cavs) to a six-game series. I don't see how it's not realistic to suggest they couldn't beat either of those teams, especially considering IT2's health. You think the Raptors, pre-culture reset, would have beaten the Celtics or Wizards last season?
They’d win games and he’d play great. He’s a nightmare for Kyrie to score against and they have Kenyon who would have been good to play on Bron. Also they got two games against Duncan at his Apex.Would those 00s Nets squads be able to beat the Cavs in the past 2-3 seasons?
