This is why black fathers instilling pride in their sons is so important. Very cringe read.

I have seen white women, Hispanic, Asian women do the same thing for their men if they are going through a rough patch and the man has potential. So why is it an issue when a black woman does the same? OP is just a bitter ass nikka. Dude needs to lose some weight and get p*ssy and go outside instead being on the coli projecting his hurt from when that chick played him. Yeah I remember that thread.

This is very true especially with white and asian women. You see it in college they will literally change majors and move to cities to follow dudes. Then the kat blows up with a high paying gig and marries her....and folks shocked.

I have literally seen white girls see a nerd who sits at the front of the class in some high paying field and will latch on to him. With the end goal of marrying him once he gets a job and is on his feet.

Them jokers are just trained to be very strategic in the dating process.

When I think of "finished product", it's some six figures six certs situation where your career/business is exploding and your life is popping on all cylinders. I think what women should be looking for is someone that's at least stable. If you've got a steady job, a car, and a place to live (even living at home is feasible depending on the situation like paying off debt) you're pretty much there.

The dude in this story was so far below even THAT standard. If you're broke to the point that you're crashing on your friend's couch and got no car, you don't need to be bringing someone else along.
The idea of a woman paying for my rent, car, and work equipment is so backwards...like as a man how do you justify that :scust:
I agree with you, even though I think living at home with your parents past grad or professional school isn't a good look either. Can't be bringing chicks back to fukk in your race car bed and expect to get respect in these streets as a man.

For the 6 figures 6 certs shyt, I also think that depends. If the broad is 22 and getting her own life together too, but she's looking for a nikka her own age that's fully established, she's delusional and should be tossed to the bushes. If she's dating older nikkas though, then I can see it. But if you're like 33 maybe 35+ and dating women your age, expecting you to be established in your career is normal shyt too.

nikkas have got to stop trying to browbeat Black women out of having normal standards and then when that shyt inevitably burns them, telling them to choose better.

Just because that person is a finished product doesn't mean they don't have flaws/baggage too. The finish product could be a devilish scumbag that treats you shyt.:yeshrug:

You gotta understand breh....people fall on hard times all the time. You can be dealing with losing a job, battling a illness, homelessness whatever obstacle it is.

Nothing wrong with someone coming into your life that cares and wants to help you. It's not like breh put a gun to that woman's head and forced her to do that. She did all that for him because she was in love, saw his vision and work ethic.

Now if dude was a lazy bum that sat around smoking weed watching ESPN all day then it's different....I wouldn't support a sister putting up with that.

She handed the keys over to Breh once he got on his feet. He became #1 in the relationship even though he took a different path.:win:

As long as that person is trying, fully determined and has vision....what's the big deal?:yeshrug:
You didn't address not one thing in my post breh.

But its cool. I know why.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this.

shyt, tbh, I share a similar story with my wife.

When we started dating the 1st time, I was an IT in the navy with my whole life in front of me.

I broke up with her because I wasn’t feeling the long distance shyt with me constantly being in and out on the boat.

I got kicked out the navy a couple years later for selling weed to the crew members, thought my good boy life was over, and started hustling cigarettes up in NY when their packs went to 9 dollars, then graduated to selling coke full time all because I thought no one would hire me for a legit gig.

After a couple years of that (with some legit work mixed in sparingly to make my money look legit), I knew I didn’t want to be a career dope boy, so I decided to look her up.

One day I was in my kitchen, and had just finished copping a couple ounces of fishscale.

I was bagging it up, regular shyt, and something hit me out the blue like “call shorty now, your time here is over.”

Long story short, I found her, we instantly reconnected, and I let her know exactly what type of time I was currently on.

She was up in Maryland by this time and I was in VA.

I would hustle all week, then left my partner to run the business on the weekends while I caught the Amtrak to see her.

After about a year of that, she started asking me to move up there, but I didn’t want to because all my business was in my hometown and she was talking some rent a room from a stranger shyt, because she didn’t want to shack up without being married.

Of course I was like “fukk that” so she said “marry me then.”

I agreed that night.

I went back home, told my partner, kept like 10 racks for myself out my stash, gave my partner the rest of my paper and told him the couple ounces we had stashed for the drought was his.

(Edit point: going back to that premonition, my partner ended up getting robbed by this bytch nikka shortly after I left, who would’ve never tried that bullshyt if I was around (he told me so a couple months ago when I took my son to get a cut and saw this nikka was a barber now), then him (my partner) and another one of my close patnas both ended up doing 5 and 7 years in the pen)

I moved to Maryland, we got married at the courthouse in Laurel, and I found a job paying 10 bucks an hour working in the kitchen at this Nursing Home.

Meanwhile, my wife was making 60k as an accountant for Enterprise Rental Car.

After a couple months, I worked my way up to being a Recreational Therapist (basically the nikka that ran bingo and got the residents to their physical therapy appointments) and my pay jumped up to 14 an hour.

Meanwhile, she got a promotion and started making 65k a year.

She never made me feel like a lil nikka and treated me with the utmost respect at all times.

I went back to school for Psychology and around that same time she got pregnant with my twins.

We couldn’t afford DC anymore, with childcare being crazy expensive, so we moved to Raleigh, NC.

She got a gig with Credit Suisse and I got a job with United Airlines while still finishing up my degree at NC Central.

While finishing up my degree, I got offered a job in my hometown doing mental health counseling for an agency one of my childhood friends was running and she immediately was like “let’s go..”

Long story long, I worked in Mental Health for 10 years, and after I got burned out, was able to slide back into my original field of IT.

Everything came full circle.

She stuck by my side, with no complaints, through all the many ups and downs, and now we are living a life neither of us ever thought we’d have.... together.

There’s NOTHING like having a woman that’s truly down for you and if you don’t have one you need to find her ASAP.

So did you have to go to school for many years and get advanced degrees to be able to work in mental health? Or did you start out with your 4 year and got a job in mental health with that?

If so what kind of entry level job can you get with a 4 year ?

Yeah, I was talking in terms of folks in their 20s. There are women looking for the 6 figs type dudes right out of college and that's definitely over-shooting, but in your mid 30's-40s that changes as you should be further along. Same for living at home, you got a higher cost of living combined with recent grads being up to their eyeballs in debt. If you can stay at home and pay that off, better to do that in your early 20's so that in your late 20's/early 30's you have a stronger foundation to actually build something on. Too many people out here stunting with a negative net worth. :francis:

Take Charlie Wilson wife as an example. She rescued a man who was an ex entertainer homeless drug addict living on the street. Cleaned him up gave him a place to stay. He goes on to be even more rich and famous than he was before. On her part that was one hell of an investment. shyt was like buying 100 bitcoins at 200 dollars a piece and selling them at 19k a piece years later.

I guess you missed that thread that was bumped the other day. A breh’s ex wife (who he noted as a good woman, just not compatible with him) got involved with a crackhead, unbeknownst to her. Dude stopped by one day & beat her into a coma while high. She can no longer function as an adult.

So, my subsequent question is...are we really advocating for black women to give crackheads a chance now? Is that how low the bar is, in regards to what we should expect from a man?

How is he a simp? :wtf:

She's the simp breh

Don’t mean to diss the brother, but did you read how they were flaming his ass?

I’m not saying he’s a simp like a trick, but because he thought it was a good idea to profess his love to the evil people online.

I called him a simp because he thinks showing his love to the world was going to be a good look, but it backfired.

He didn’t have to put all that online, whether it was good intentions or not, now dude is getting so much shyt talked about him for trying to do the right thing.

He’s a good dude that did the wrong thing, now he’s looked at as a bum, which is sad.

That is called being practical.

Women all over the World do that, which is how they find husbands. African American women used to do that too, which is why Big Mama and older Black women had husbands. I never ever heard an older Black woman say that there ain't no good men. I only hear that from modern Black women who have frustrated themselves with stupid notions about what is a man and what a relationship is supposed to be like and about some supposed ridiculous level that they themselves are not even on.

Just the 4 year but a lot has changed since ‘08.

It’s moving more and more towards needing a masters plus license (or at least be license eligible and working on your supervision hours) before you can get a decent job.

I started off doing Therapeutic Day Treatment and also did Intensive In Home counseling and worked as a Psych Tech at a behavioral health hospital part time.

The 1st two require at least a 4 year degree in a human services field and a license as a QMHP (in Virginia), you can work as a Psych Tech without a degree, but you need a couple years of experience doing some type of mental health work.

He was bummy and she payed all the bills and dates for him. Now they’re getting married.

Well in that case, SHE was the one that loved a homeless man. Wouldn't that make HER the fool? He literally had nothing but the shirt on his back. It it like he was some fukk nikka lazy in his mom's basement playing XBOX. If the role was reversed :

OMG WHAT A PRINCE CHARMING
HOW ROMANTIC
SEE, THATS HOW A REAL MAN SUPPOSED TO TREAT A GIRL

How the fukk is the man supposed to play the role when he's broke? A man with no income dont mean shyt these days. Unless he's exploiting her, he sounds like a decent guy.
