Those of us who are 29+ let's give advice to new graduates and those 17-24

Those who applied to take the New York City Firefighter Exam (exam numbers 2000 and 2500), are required to fulfill the following eligibility requirements: Be at least 17 ½ years of age by the end of the application period and not have reached your 29th birthday by the beginning of the application period.
He could be older. You have to be under 29 at the time you take the test. You're not guaranteed to be hired if you pass the test. They select the best candidates out of a pool of people who pass. Your name is on a list and they'll go back to the same pool when they want to hire the next year. They don't give the test every year. The last test was in 2012 and the one before that was in 2008 I believe. Unless there's another way to get in.

Update
I got a job doing project management in construction. Just finished my first week.
I guess about $45k a year in dollars but I don't think the conversion is accurate unless that is just abit over average in $ for a graduate job. I turned down a job for the same role that was offering me ridiculous money (baller money) because the job I got now will pay for me to do a masters degree and I work 4 days a week and go university one day.
I be dropping gems....
Never do anything for the money because money isn't natural to humans. It's he equivalent of saying "I done it for the gram",
Make calculated moves, don't let nobody rush you.
Think of the bigger picture and think long term.
If you tell gotta tell lies make sure you can back it up or theres a gram of truth in it.

Try to put 25% of every pay check away if you can. Also get a 401k n stay on point n feed it, you going to be older alot longer than you will be young. Just a few jewels for y'all.

Your job as a supervisor or manager is to develop and grow your people, not just make them work for you.
If you have an assistant your job is to get them promoted to your job and yourself promoted to your bosses job.
You can be a positive influence on someone and not even know it, the opposite is also true. Act wisely .
