and them bullshyt a$$ dead end streets... odd a$$ city configuration and them big a$$ box trucks sittin' in the middle of the road holdin' up traffic with the driver lookin' at you on some :pacspit: shyt... fukk DC as a motorist mane. Definitely not a place to drive in.

Cuz you ain't hip to them hallways and cuts. :sas2:

I don't understand what's so hard about the layout for yall its literal as fukk. Yall ain't learn North/South/East/West shyt? I know Mo County schools was top flight but :ohhh:. Nah all jokes aside, that's literally all you have to know and it's simple. "If you travel south which way do you turn to go east" type shyt. That and paying attention to the number and letter streets cuz that tells you how close you're getting to downtown if you're going north to south. That's how literal DC is with it's layout aside from your SSW SSE type streets that are diagonal and even those are simple.

Yall OTs just ain't hip that's why DC so weird, mind you I grew up in Maryland so my knowledge of DC streets ain't shyt to a real live Washingtonian but I know enough to not be up outta there. :yeshrug:

:ufdup:nah it's a little more to it than that. you got all the random state streets (mass ave, conn. ave, rhode island, etc), the roundabouts, random dead ends, one way streets....

before google maps/GPS...I always got turned around in DC.

I'm starting to dislike this area even more, it's becoming such a soulless city. The cost of living is really getting out of hand

All you need to know is what section you're in and what direction it goes in (North/South/East/West). All you would need to know is the general location you want to go so if you name a certain area that makes it easy.

The A might have DC on cost of living but thats it. ANd like everybody's saying DC makes up for that by how much you get paid there vs other places. SO ppl in general are able to afford that higher cost of living. shyt balances out.

Plus DC is chocolate just like the Atl except the Blacks in DC are cut from a whole different cloth than Blacks in the A.

DC aint got nowhere near Atlanta's collective levels of ignorance and Black male fakkits.
DC win hands down bruh :win:
South side might be Chocolate, but best believe this ain't the Chocolate City anymore

About 5 years ago DC was a really great city. Now, it's pretty sucky, culture-less, and turning into a monotonous white yuppie conclave.

EVERY part of the city is starting to look the same, sans the historic construction of Georgetown and DuPont. They all have little markets located under the new high rises made with dark brick or with big grey walls. From U St. to NY Ave to H St. to GA Ave to Rhode Island Ave, Catholic Univ. etc. Every once cultural neighborhood now looks the same. With a bunch of white hipsters and liberals running it all, loving their watered down foreign restaurants and local chains and Wal-Marts. Mexican food spots in D.C. are legit though.

Black residents in DC who are not college grads (shiet, even the college grads) are in serious denial about the forthcoming plans for that city. You'd never see a white person on GA Ave even 4 years ago. Whites are abundant in those parts now. I will be very surprised if the Ethiopians are able to maintain their residential stake in the city cause whites are coming for it all. Black people are pawns for whites in D.C. White money runs the government, black faces are figureheads until the white population gets the numbers (and they will be there in the next 2 years). Even SE will be done in 5 years. DC is definitely a model city for outlining and enacting gentrification plans at a fast action pace.

shytiest larger city metro system by far. Inefficient as fukk and the most costly.

Restaurant scene is horrible. And everyone eats at the same few restaurants because the food options are so shytty. You can find good food, but the options are so few and crowded unless you wanna eat at a dirty take out spot. For a city that's the "size" of D.C., you'd expect a lot more food and at a way better quality.

Club scene in D.C. sucks for blacks. There are a bunch of bars, which is great for watching the games and events. But Clubs? They suck. U St. sucks. Adams Morgan is good for bar hopping. H St as well. nikkas stay at the same couple of clubs and rotate in between those. Great city for bottomless mimosa brunches though.

And now that Kirk Cousins is about to be the head QB for the Redskins? It's like the last call for gentrification. Plus, in 2016, Republicans will more than likely be taking over the city. Expect to see a lot of jobs lost up there + more whites coming in.

When Atlanta gets a better functioning train system (They are planning this up now and bus lines are all over the city now), D.C. will be done, as far as blacks (sans the ones in PG County) are concerned. Less than 10 years.

lol, I'm not from DC nor did I grow up there. I'm obliged to defend the city cuz the outlying areas are influenced by DC. I just find it funny when OTs talk about DC at such length, you can talk about the tourist spots or nights spots but culture is altogether a different matter. Yall nikkaz laugh when yall watch Martin or Chappelle Show when they products of that environment, I'm just sayin....:yeshrug:
