Real shyt one of the things about this area I really don't care for is mumbo sauce. I love the fact that the Chinese spots remind me of the ones I'm used to in Jersey, it's a very comforting feeling, but they be lookin at me likewhen they ask if I want mumbo sauce and I say "nah but drown em in hot sauce and ketchup"
Cuz them Chinese gettin yelled at if they forget the mambo sauce that's why they looked at you like you was crazy. Good mambo sauce = good carryout, so if the carryout you went to got bad mambo then its bushes status.

there breh. I'm an OT and all I hangs with are born and bred DC natives. I find the transients corny and too busy trying to live life around here on some black Hollywood shyt. I laugh at folks who act scared of DC and won't go north of Mt. Vernon square and shyt. Use to hang in Adams Morgan a lot until I started realizing that shyt was just a hipster version of M St. DC is a dope ass city once you get past all the cleaned up, fancy parts. I'd love to move back here and if I do, staying far away from Fairfax county. Moving my ass either in the city or Maryland

I went to a conference in D.C while the World Cup was going on. Saw the U.S beat Ghana and it was crazy in the bar out there. I also hit up this ramen spot name Dakaiya across from the Verizon Center. shyt was great. Definitely can't wait to go back next year. Worst part of the trip was taking a taxi to the Smithsonian during midday traffic. My damn cab driver got out his car ready to fight another man for cutting him off. Had me spooked
