When you got for 4 years that is "came and went" you dumbass fakkit in comparison to jay z who has been here for TWENTY YEARS.
No disrespect to dmx cause a LOT of rappers are only hot for a few years but that is my point that jay z stayed while others have come and gone.
Jay z was here from just after biggie and nas first dropped, to the days of dmx, to the days of 50 cent, to the days of kanye west, to the days of drake...he has ALWAYS been here near the front.

I wouldn't be the least bit affected if you never posted again in your life.dmx was the victim of admin coup and abusive drug use.
nelly damaged his career by not using jay Epperson to the full potential.
then, switching from being his own lead single melody maker into a rnb collab hook feature artist.
which limited his sales reach from diamond to double plat.
which is really all you can technically sell as a rnb collab guy max, out of the sales spike era.
fiddy, also went from being his own melody maker.
to a rnb collab artist, plus took on admin coup.
when, he strayed away from his winning dre single marketed formula, on the massacre.
then, resulting decline in sales happened domestically.
jayz has larger sales, as realistically.
he was never a high seller but twice, and after he humanized his draw into a rnb collab feature artist.
he never really recovered draw wise.
all those artist are declining draw artist.
only difference is jay could have had live nation buy his albums.
as a prelude to Samsung buying his albums.
it just could not be pr'd because of legal ramifications.
also, in the sales spike era.
a lot of those albums were not real sales.
as record companies had marketing guerrilla based firms buy albums as well.
to spike sales and drive fan interests, erroneously as well.
jay could be one of the very few who figured out, how to keep sales spike practices going.
after, the sales spike era was over.
jay is also, the best pr'd rapper in history.
so, his traction, in the media since defjam always resulted in some return.
something dmx, fiddy, and nelly have not favorably been able to benefit from after their largest drawing cycles in sales.
