No one talks about good fathers that struggle to get full, or even joint custody of their children as responsible men. Its always mom's, moms, moms as the default parent, even when the mother is neglecting and even abusing the child's basic needs.

Support systems are what make parenting successful. A mother and father isn't even the optional support system which is why the model largely doesn't work and isn't sustainable.
