this how crazy this memecoin shyt can be. recently they had this fartcoin one go up big like over a billion in market cap. that plus this unicorn fart dust also did well. with that narrative i had purchased this fartboy coin early and sold some of it. i then looked at it a bit later and it had gone up a bit so i sold. i then buy back in but sell on a dip. overall i lost about 1 sol. but then i get a notification from one of the telegram callers i follow about the coin and that shyt went up like crazy. 
if i would've been patient I would've been up big. shyt looking like a 2k% gain. prolly could've turned 1 sol into like 200 of them. its slightly under 40M now but I feel like its not worth chasing at the top especially after I screwed up at the bottom. thats the thing that sucks especially if your bankroll is small. tough to feel comfortable leaving lot of capital sitting in one coin for a long time especially if it doesn't move much for about a week or so. but it seems to be that the ones that are flat for a while like this one suddenly get a burst and curve up versus the ones that jump high in the beginning and then quickly die down.

Kidnapped co-founder of French crypto firm Ledger had his hand mutilated
David Balland and his wife were kidnapped from their home in central France on Jan 21. Read more at straitstimes.com.www.straitstimes.com
During the kidnapping, the kidnappers contacted another Ledger co-founder and demanded a ransom in cryptocurrency, part of which was paid, Ms Beccuau said.
The rescue operation involved more than 90 officers from the GIGN, one of France's elite tactical police units, leading to Mr Balland's freeing and the arrest of two people.
Mr Balland was taken to hospital and treated for injuries to one of his hands, she said, without giving details.
Mr Balland's wife was found tied up but uninjured in a car on Jan 23.
“We are deeply relieved that David and his wife have been released, and are now safe,” Mr Pascal Gauthier, chairman and chief executive of Ledger said in a statement.
Mr Balland has not worked at Ledger since 2021 and has no current role there, the company said.
