All Binance-backed exchanges were down (balances zeroed out, unable to login, buy/sell etc), so unless you had a limit order sitting down there - most of which were skipped because of how fast the price was moving - or were able to market buy, you were out of luck. You really had to be on a DEX, and even then this happened in just minutes
