Nas never does that puzzle rap shyt though so the comparison doesn't stand up, Nas actually uses artistry effectively and that's why he's truly regarded as 1 of the greatest ever and Lupe is not, and why Lupe's favourite artist is Nas and Nas' isn't Lupe.
This is true. I fukks with Lupe's early work but somewhere down the line he lost me. He became so lyrical it became unnecessary to me and unrelatable.
Each to his own though, you like K-Rino (for whatever reason) and always try to shove it down everyone's throat. You don't need to gun for Lupe cause he got loyal fans
It's not a case of him being lyrical, it's a case of him not being effective. You can be effective and be lyrical.
I like K-Rino cause he is by far 1 of the greatest and most effective artists of all time. Lupe isn't in the same stratosphere in terms of lyricism, MC'in or discography. And I don't shove it down anyone's throat, I just say my opinion, anyone can disagree if they want to. I'm not gunning for anyone, and I give no fukks about anyone's fans or stans, I will say what I want when I want and I don't give a fukk who likes it or not.
