Imo it’s better to start from the bottom and build enough cache with the audience over the years so that way when you’re not a focus in the main event scene you’re still relevant someway….

Not the best example but dudes like the new day are made and will be guaranteed title matches not matter what and if placed in a legit story line the crowd will care

Sky rocket pushes only worked for dudes like Lesnar and Kurt imo

Logan Paul got a mini skyrocket push where he’s in the main event but that’s because he’s a natural at this and he brings a lot of business and following with him

Yep, I like to compare it to the music business.


Sure, some people catch a big crossover hit right off the bat and go on to be stars for the long haul, but we often see the opposite where someone has a huge hit immediately, fade out and are gone within 5 years…

The people who typically last the longest usually float around for a bit, see moderate success overtime and build a strong foundation with their base before finally catching that crossover hit and going on to be a star.
