Because they have more guys capable of guarding the 2 than they do the 1 :wtf:

They do not put Iguodala on Kyrie because he has to be on LeBron, Klay is an SG being asked to guard a PG. They could put Klay, Iguodala or even KD on Kobe because they do not have to respect the offense of Rick Fox or Derek Fisher, neither of those dudes are beating anyone.

11/1/14 after missing 76 games kobe dropped 44 in 3 quarters on Klay's head, lol. After Achilles & Bone fracture...the rusty dude with no lift got buckets, lol.

2001 Kobe...4yrs before his 05-08 run was still a better athlete than 2014 Kobe. Klay would have problems.

Klay benefits from not having to deal with prime:
Iverson
Kobe
McGrady
Vince Carter

The 2nd best SG in the game is JJ Reddikk. SG not a strong position these days. Who are these creators at SG these days?

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
So are they gonna start Igoudala or is Thompson gonna guard Kobe?

Cause an old Kobe lit up Klay quite a few times. And with the way Kyrie is lighting up Klay for the second straight finals, Kobe would do twice the damage.

And finally even if I concede to this argument that they could control Kobe, what they gon do about Shaq? You acting like the 2001 Lakers don't have the ultimate trump card. 2001 Shaq would average 50ppg on this team.

Kobe shot 41% vs Klay in his career, lighting him up has an awful lot of shytty games mixed in there :yeshrug:

He didn't average 50ppg against Jason Collins and Todd MacCulloch, 3 > 2, how does Shaq defend high screens :stopitslime:

:dead: He was 15-34 and the Lakers lost by 21, he not getting 34 shots with the Diesel around

Old Kobe aint the same as 2001 Kobe.

Once again is your argument that Kyrie Irving is better than Kobe Bryant?

Cause I'm seeing 6'2" Kyrie totally dominate Klay for the second consecutive finals.

If Kyrie Irving can do what he is doing right now, imagine what Kobe would do?

Kobe would average 35ppg with ease.

He dropped 48 on him his 2nd year in the league :aicmon:

You want to see some of the ugly ass statlines Kobe had against Iguodala or would that ruin your childhood to see him posting 6-17, 7-21 type games?

In any lineup, you refuse to answer the question how does Shaq guard the high screen you been ducking that shyt for a reason :russ:

The Nets ran a lot of pick and roll sets. Spurs too. Still lost.

Of the 22 times Kobe and Igoudola played, Kobe killed him in about 12 of those matchups. And keep in mind, the last two games were in 2016 when Kobe was a shell of himself so its really 12 times out of 20 :russ: You gotta pray Kobe goes for 19 points instead of 48, 44 or 40 :russ:

Klay didn't get to the NBA until 2011, lol.

Malta acts like Klay was guarding Kobe during Kobe's championship runs, lol. Malta being intellectually dishonest out here.

How is Iggy even a factor? You have to play Zaza, Steph, Dray, KD and Klay a majority of the time. Unless you think you're going to put one of your best players on Shaq :russ:

They won't be in the game long if they are guarding Shaq that's for sure :shaq:

But but KD is an evolution of humanity. Bigger, stronger, faster. KD should be able to easily defend against shaq :mjlol:

When did Klay guard Kobe 2000-2008?

The first time Klay and Kobe played each other, Kobe was 34 years old and Kobe still lit him up for 28 points or more 8 different times throughout their 12 matchups (39pts, 30pts, 40pts, 27pts, 34pts, 36pts, 34pts, 28pts, 44pts).

And again, the average includes seasons where Kobe was old and injured (2014 onward) where he could barely score more than 12 points on him (4pts, 8pts, 12pts). If he gave up that many points to a 34/35 year old Kobe, yall might need to find another option to defend a 23 year old one :aicmon:
