Deng would have the same role Battier had.

Play great defense and hit the 3.

Deng is his replacement but better
Another type of player who's absolutely dependent on someone else carrying the offensive load and has a history of looking completely lost when its times to step up in playoffs.

LBJ still forced to carry the entirety of the offensive load for Miami.

They won 2 titles during the span. Isn't that a reason to stay?
Yeah. But look at those rosters compared to now

Ray- 2 Years Older
Wade - Declined
Miller - Gone
Baitter - Retired
UD- Useless
JJ - Useless

They haven't made any moves to revamp their bench. Norris Cole is under contract but what improve has he made since being in Miami?

Deng has averaged a steady 15-18 his whole career

He would help a lot.

He's already been run square into the ground by Thibs and last time he was in a big playoff series he was one of the 4 guys sitting around waiting for Derrick Rose to beat Miami by himself.

Miami's direction is stay the course. Great organization, smart coach. They've been to 4 straight Finals, won 2 of em together. Yes changes need to be made, but if the Big 3 return they retain their status as a title contender. They've probably got another 2-3 years to win a title if they stay together. Pay cuts will have to be made and that's the biggest drawback IMO...for Bosh, Wade & even Bron this is their last BIG payday. I see a scenario where they'd be unlikely to take a cut, I don't discount that as a real possibility, depends on how badly they want to win a title together

:mjlol: @ the Bulls bein hot on ANYONE'S heels

BTW, the salary cap is goin up with the new TV deal that's coming. That'll give a cap strapped team like MIA more flexibility to make moves in the next couple seasons

Yeah let's be honest the heat are gonna make the finals next year again and the spurs are the only team in the league I'd pick over them in. Series and who knows what they have left in the tank..

With that being said wade doesn't have much left at all if I'm Lebron I'm only signing for a year or two because after that wade will be finished.

@WojYahooNBA: Meanwhile, Rockets, Cavs pushing closer to creating max contract slots. Deals lined up for Jeremy Lin. Cavs shopping Jarrett Jack w/ a pick.

@ESPNSteinLine: We're gotten to the point in free agency where some teams in pursuit think LeBron is more likely to leave than Melo. Stunning turn of events

Chris Bosh's reps have made recent calls on market to reconfirm that max slots would be available to him, sources tell Yahoo. Answers: Yes.

But sway, I was told Riley had all the answers?
