im thinking McRob is MLE and Granger is LLE or Bi annual exception (forgot if they got rid of LLE in this CBA). theyd sign bosh/bron/wade first then use exceptions on those guys to go over cap

They don't need to free up space for a big signing because they couldn't lure anyone in. Asking The Big 3 to take big paycuts was only necessary to sign a big name for more than the MLE.

they have 55m in space signing granger and mcbob didnt mess with it


lebron will get 22m- 2m can over the cap, so down to 33m


bosh will be offered around the same, down to 13m
