The 215
and >>>> DJ - great low key pickup for us

im kinda hoping Hinrich goes down with an early injury so he takes over the backup PG role for good for the season :ld:
Nah Kirk done offensively but he plays decent D that most of,these small cats cant do. I don't know why y'all love these offensive minded no D types. Y'all never loved Boozer like this lol

My Pops Forever RIP
We'll see, you have a lot of vets in front of LaVine.

Nah, trading Love is going to be viewed as a rebuild regardless, I think ultimately if you keep Dieng you will be better with Wiggins and the young dudes than you were with Love, but at the same time if you did trade Dieng most of the media would be like ":yeshrug: they got Wiggins though". If you get back the Memphis or Miami pick for Dieng, then it's really not that big of a loss for you. For the Cavs it's a huge gain because they just don't have a center.....

Flip can't be trusted in the draft room. Getting Dieng was pure luck. He's not seeking out a Dieng-like player, so until he makes good draft picks intentionally, don't give him more chances to draft more LaVines.

Knowing that how that team rolls, they'd just sell the picks to make up for the money they lose annually.

I'll believe it when I see it breh, Flip is praying for that Blazers situation and it just isn't going to happen because I think he'll just stick with the players he knows. There will always be a coach waiting in the wings for a job, always, it's not as grim as you think.

He doesn't know know those guys though besides the guys he chose. All those vets were there for Adelman's sake, not his.

and the reason why Flip is coach is because no one wanted the job outside of the guys he hired to be his assistants like Sam Mitchell and Sidney Lowe. You think the job will be MORE attractive in 2 years when all you'd have is a disgruntled Wiggins?

Plenty of coaches don't trust players, Lawrence Frank got fired for not trusting Drummond even though it was quickly apparent he was their best player even as a rookie coming off the bench. That urge to win will probably keep the young guys on the bench because they will make costly mistakes, if you trade for Wiggins he will make costly mistakes.

The vets make costly mistakes. That's why they'll be gone after next year.

:dead: Come on manito, you're being a bit dramatic with Rubio, he is not an all-world talent. If you got Mudiay in the draft next year Rubio would be backing him up within 3 years or traded to a team that would :camby: his max contract request. I don't get why you're so invested in him, he's a good player, far from a great one and there are many PGs better than him, hell several guys taken after him in his own draft are better.

Mudiay is not a franchise altering talent (good prospect don't get me wrong, but he's not built for that overseas life.

and without Ricky you don't have a team. We saw that when he got hurt. This team simply won't get another player to build around if he's gone. You actually trust Flip to identify that player? The only chance that front office has is if Milt Newton does something more than sharpen pencils.

But yall keep tellin me its all Kobe's fault. jim buss is to the Lakers what Timothy McVeigh was to the federal building in Oklahoma. :yeshrug:
I can't imagine them actually pulling the trigger on this doe. They'd have Bledsoe, Nash and Lin all making a lot of fukkin money. Only for next season, but still. This is too dumb even for Jim Buss.

Nothin is too dumb for jim buss as far as I'm concerned. The fact we're even entertaining this after we coulda just signed him outright is amazing, the fact we're giving the sons another 1st rounder AND a top 10 lotto talent is some extraordinary shyt. I'm prepared for them to pull a dumbass move like this cuz I've seen them pull countless dumbass moves for almost 2 years now. :ld:

Yea keep stashing away players instead of getting your team immediate help. At some point they have to give themselves an opportunity to spend and try to get a player or two to help Durant and Sabo.

that's all good, but they need immediate help...

I agree more immediate help would be nice but that wasn't coming from the 29th pick of this draft anytime soon for this team. This move is reaching for a possible 2nd round guy that they liked with what was an "extra" 1st round pick (who was going to be in the D-League anyway this season) & basically getting a 5 year scaled contract out of him.
