I honestly feel like if Danny plays this draft well he could walk out of it with two future all stars, or if he plays it safer on the number 17 pick, he could at least get a good starter.

That's the problem, Rondo isn't doing it intentionally but the fear of losing him is probably got Danny trying to make this team a contender sooner than he'd like.

Its smart by Ainge regardless of Rondo's intent. The East is garbage, Rondo is volatile and somewhat unpredictable, and Stevens needs some early success. Things could hit the fan if he swings and misses on a pick and they start out shytty in a shytty conference.

This is a confusing deal for both sides.

1) It makes the Warriors worse

2) Knicks would owe Lee 15.5 mil in 2015-16 & then would have to consider resigning Barnes after his contract is up next year
