The Cavs should be contracted if they sign Hayward to a big deal after drafting Wiggins and with Waiters on the roster.

What's the issue with having depth?

The only real roadblock is the number of years on the contract.

They don't have any real guaranteed money on the books after this year except Kyrie and Jack.

Waiters, Bennett, Wiggins, Karasev, Zeller, Harris, Delly, Felix, and Trist are still on their rookie deals.

When Kyrie's extension kicks in next year, they'll have nearly half their cap in the starting backcourt with Waiters and Wiggins making nearly another $10 million between them. That'd leave them with like $20 million to fill out the rest of the roster.
