The Cavs are stuck between a rock and a hard place. LeBron might be saying he knows it's a process and he's alright with waiting for the team to become a contender, but he's in the second half of his career and time is ticking.

We all agree that if Wiggins does become any type of star or superstar, that's still quite a few years away. Would anyone really put it past LeBron to skip town again if these young guns don't pan out in a couple years?
This has to be the last stop for Bron, win or lose. Even if he only gets one title in Cleveland it'll be better than skipping town n winning multiple titles elsewhere ..

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I think Loves defensive effort will naturally improve with less offensive responsibility and good coaching to mask his and kyrie's deficiencies.....One thing you got to give to him is that he;s a strong and tenacious rebounder which is a huge plus on both ends......But he's definitely gonna need his marc gasol to zbo if the cavs want to win and go deep in the off's now......

He can have more effort, he's still got T-rex arms and he's not the quickest laterally. All the same problems you see David Lee having defensively, Love has them, and it's cause they aren't great athletes and there are guards in the league shorter than them with bigger wingspans.

I too think love getting a little overrated here...but I see him playing better with Bron.. where his strengths get magnified..

a little like what Kobe did gasol

He'll get more efficient offensively, the defense just isn't there, and he doesn't really have potential to be a very good defender either. Pau is a legit 7 footer, if Love had his game in Pau's body you could trade everyone on the Cavs other than Kyrie and LeBron and they would murder everyone in their path, cause Pau had length and could alter shots in the lane.

You need a mobile defensive center next to Love to cover his real weaknesses, all of which are on the defensive end.

i see what your saying, but dont think its as complicated as you trying to make it out to be...he doesnt have to be a shut down defensive guy just make the key stops and clean up the boards....boris diaw is a perfect example of this, a bad defensive player who can be reformed......

Diaw has Tim Duncan playing behind him protecting the paint, who will be the guardian at the gate for the Cavs when Kyrie gets beat off the dribble?

I don't think you really understand just how bad Love is defensively breh, dude was statistically the worst rim protector in the league last year.

The crazy thing with Love's rebounding is that his rebounding sucked in the 4th quarter. He could never come down with one late in games when they were trailing.

The problem I have with Love is his 3 pointers. He can shoot well and clutch, but he would have benefited the team so much more by being in the paint and working with Pek to dominate offensive rebounding.

A lot of it was Adelman's fault though, dude gave the players dogtreats for playing hero ball

fun to watch? would that team win 20 games though? :patrice:
They won 31 the prior season mostly without Kevin Love.

Losing Love won't impact the W-L mark nearly as much as you'd think. The numbers you lose with Love will be filled in by whoever's replacing him. They just wouldn't take a huge step forward the way they would with Love next season.

Shooting is the name of the game for Love, he loves shooting. He has a couple of crafty moves down low but his whole game is driven by his shooting ability

Yep i bet a lot of that had to with his lack of fondness to get in foul trouble when your the only player on that team with no depth that can consistently create there own shot.....the wolves where a pretty bad at team defense anyways.......i still feel he's weaknesses can be easily masked under the right system.......at the end of the day there are not many if any big men with his skill set and versatility..... a change in scenery and motivation to win a ship will spark him........under a young knowledgeable coach like blatt with him and bron at the forward spots running the two man game with kyrie, waiters and all those shooters constantly putting pressure on the D....it could be a great thing to watch:wow:.........none of this happens w/o a center though that for sure look what happened to miami........

with that said i doubt this trade ever happens:skip:..........my wizards bout to take the east anyways...........

Luckily for Wiggins, the team won't put the team on his back as long as Rubio is there.
