The Mavericks worked with Dirk to be able to afford Parsons at his asking price. The Jazz matched a max offer sheet because they had the space and wanted to retain Heyward.
I see where Bledsoe is coming from wanting as much paper as possible, but his situation is tied in directly with the Suns...not the Mavs and Jazz.
