Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
don't know if that could work. you ain't gon move up from the 5th pick to the 3rd pick by sending the other team 5 second round picks. at most you might get top 20 protected future 1s. dunno how much value that has :yeshrug:

I was thinking more so using those second round picks to move back up into the bottom of the first round. A lot of those teams are capped out and may not need to add guaranteed money to their books.

Now you're just playing a what if scenario. Paul George and LeBron James have no injury history in their careers. Yes, freak injuries happen but the odds aren't likely. What if you trade for Luol Deng and he proceeds to blow out his knee and the player that was drafted with the pick you trade away turns out to be a great player?

neither did Russell Westbrook and in less than 9 months he had 3 surgeries on his knee. Rose has missed 2 seasons. it can happen.

all I'm saying is 2nd round picks are WORTHLESS and I'd take the gamble on Deng than the fear that second rounder ever amounts to anything.

the odds are firmly on my side.

that would be a bad move. better odds selecting 5 second rounders and hoping one of them becomes a productive player than selecting someone at the bottom of the first round. thats like the worst possible place to pick. guaranteed Ks and the chances they're productive is the same as a second rounder. your better off just keeping the 2nd round picks and hoping the odds to multiple attempts are on your side rather than having one go at it.

Per David Aldridge: Roger Mason, of the Heat, being traded to Sacramento for a protected 2nd round pick. Roger will be waived by Sacramento and available for pick up soon.

2nd round picks aren't completely useless. Sometimes you can manage a pretty good role player out of those picks, granted the odds aren't great. Like a poster said before you dont actually have to sign the player if you dont want to.

Bucks guard Gary Neal is rumored to be heading to Charlotte on Thursday, according to Ken Berger and Andrian Wojnarowski.

Ramon Sessions and other pieces would be going to the Bucks in return according to Woj, but we're still awaiting for details of the deal.

The Cavs and Clippers are talking about a swap of Tyler Zeller for Reggie Bullock on Thursday.

Coach Doc Rivers reportedly liked Zeller back when he was the coach of the Celtics and the Clippers have no depth behind DeAndre Jordan at center. Jordan is very durable and has shown he's capable of playing big minutes, so Zeller doesn't project to be a major piece. He's obviously very expendable in Cleveland with the arrival of Spencer Hawes
