Son. nikkas ain't tryna upgrade their perfectly good and functional hardware just because Apple decides they wanna pull a dikk move. People spend thousands of bucks on their gear and who the fukk wants to upgrade all of their peripherals just because.

It's why you wait. You ain't gotta upgrade now. But Apple is smart at makin money. Like it or not what they doin is the future. Other oems will follow. Your setup could be good now but in the future to get the latest you'll have to conform. Nature of technology.

Fam I build computers. I deal with technology every day cause it's my job. The future is the future. We in the present. And to remove options to where u can't even plug the CURRENT iPhone into the Macbook "Pro" out of the box is just bullshyt. U can't even attempt to tell me anything different. Remove the HDMI port :wtf:. Just so I could buy a dongle and still have to use HDMI? And no. nikkas is NOT finna use USB C over HDMI ANYTIME soon. No removable SSD? U ok wit this fukk shyt?. Put it like this. Marques Brownlee just got the most dislikes on a YouTube video in his entire career for his Macbook Pro review. That should tell u somethin.

Apple isn't doing anything to really surprise anyone. Nonremovable ssd isn't new to Apple. Taking away/changing ports ain't new either. It's why I said wait for at least gen 2

How isn't it new to Apple when this is the first time they did it? I mean wtf is the point of this thing when u can go cop a razorblade for half the price and double the specs. And STILL get a USB C port but have all the other functionality as well? Or even the Dell XPS 13 or 15?

Again I suggested waiting. But Apple overall is typically overpriced. You'll always be able to find good Windows laptops for relatively cheaper. That's never changed. Apple knows peeps buy macs for OS X. Plain and simple. And the support Apple provides.

Nonremovable ssds in general are where Apple been goin for a while. In iMacs and even last gen mbp it's relatively harder than others at swapping ssd especially their custom blade type ssd. While kits were available at sites like owc it wasn't exactly the easiest thing to do.

For them to remove that option was a horrible idea fam. Straight terrible. I understand that Macbook's are overpriced but it seems they going WAY overboard now. Like I said. Razorblade has USB C. AND it has everything else u need. Has great build quality. 4K screen. External GPU support is great. Slim build. And stock windows. I just don't see a reason to get a Macbook at this point. I own a Macbook Pro. And while overpriced I understood the benefits of having one and why someone would want it in the past. I'm just not seeing those benefits at this point. The shyt dont even work seemless within it's OWN ecosystem out of the box. If I got an iPhone I can't even plug my shyt without grabbing an adapter or dongle. That's some fukk shyt.

Then don't get a MacBook. Nobody's making anyone buy it. You get a Mac for OS X. Something not offered by other oems. Pretty simple. But the future is what your seeing with the mbp. And apple doing all usbc is what will force the industry forward.

The razer blade is a nice computer. But it doesn't have OS X.

They limited SSD upgrades a few years ago on some typical apple BS. You could physically remove the drive, but if it wasn't from OWC or an original Apple part you had to disable TRIM in order to get it to work with Yosemite.

Apple has been on this path for a very very long time in where they want to sell you a device that you really have no upgrade path imaginable...

oh you want double the RAM? That will be $200, yes we know it will only cost $80 if we left you the opiton to upgrade, but it doesn't have apple magic dust on the modules.

Thanks :troll:

My refurbished 2009 MacBook Pro is still holding me down but I've had upgrades done to it through the years.

When it finally kicks the bucket, I'll get this one next :smugbiden:
