From a product perspective you have to make changes across the board to show you are serious about your decision to do something. Like I said, apples decisions show that you have a bunch of different departments that dont work together.

it'd be a huge inconvenience at this stage to ship iphones with usb-c to lightning cables unless they also shipped with usb-c to usb-a adaptors.

This mac was done for months if not a year ago lol. Everything that we see now was done last year or earlier, so really they have no excuse.

the mac is done but everyone who purchases an iphone 7 won't necessarily own the new mac, so they'd need to purchase an adaptor to connect their phones to their computers or use purchase lightning to usb-a cables. I can see the next iphone shipping with usb-c lightning cables though.

Thats the breaks of going to new i/o standards. Look at when they went from 30 pin to the lightning. It's annoying but when consumers see you do it across the board we at least get a sense you are serious. If the new iPads in spring are not Usb C to Lightning, it says alot about how the company is being ran. Keep in mind I`m speaking strictly from a Product Management standpoint, so some of this stuff is no biggie, but it says about how they are running things internally as of late.

Don't fault apple for going all USB c because you need a company to push the envelope and as Apple goes typically the industry will follow. You'll see tons of accessory makers start mainstreaming USB c accessories making prices go down. The most painful is prolly the sd card removal though.

I easily could've gotten the new one if I wanted, but school started and I needed a new macbook i mean my 2011 one was still iite, but I was like fukk it.

I would've copped it,but holy shyt all that crap they did to it the touch bar does not warrant me a omg i need it buy. specially when I can't remove the SSD which to me is a fukk you to us because if your SDD fails then guess what you paying for the entire board probably since its soldered in.

Also them nikkas opted usb-c instead of the magsafe? nikka that some dumb shyt like magsafe was great if someone walked on ya cord or through it it just snatched the cord away now it with usb-c its finna be the computer too possibly

PLus I love my HDMI port and that SD card port. I'm happy I bought the most recent one before the new ones came out.

Got a maxed out mid-2014 MBP that I won't be dropping anytime soon. Was cheaper than the current ones AND much more powerful.
