All in all I thought we had a solid draft. Didn't like the Engram pick at first but then realized the selection could mean Donnell gets cut. Love the 2nd round pick. Losing Big Hank hurts and Bama tends to have good defensive players. 3rd round pick, we eventually have to plan for life after Eli. If he ends up being our future QB that's great, if not oh well, he's just a 3rd rounder. Not too familiar with the later picks, don't know much about the Clemson RB but glad picked an RB (I really wanted Cook in the 1st) our run was HORRIBLE last year.

The Giants would pass on drafting Lawrence Taylor if he was playing today. I don't understand why they are allergic to LBs.
TBF we did win 11 games and have a rather solid defense with the LBs we currently have but yeah it's the weak link on D and there were some guys I would've taken in this draft.

3 years ago, I wanted CJ Mosley and was pissed they drafted OBJ. Obviously now I'm glad that pick worked out for us.

He's not on the team anymore.

Dalvin Tomlinson + Snacks is gonna make the middle of our defense sick. He was basically the Alabama version of Snacks for them last season, Kept their linebackers clean and made running up the middle on Bama impossible. Giants won't be getting gashed by the run. Ice up Zeke :jawalrus:

Engram is a wideout who teams will defend as a TE....goodluck with that.

I don't see it with Davis Webb man. I know Reese said he has the best arm in the draft, but he screams Osweiler to me. Hopefully he's developed correctly.

I'm happy they didn't reach for any O-line players. I was so fukking happy when Den took Bolles:blessed: .

I like Gallman, good complement to PP.

I didn't watch any Youngstown state games so idk about the 5th round pick.

What was the excuse the last few years (not complaining abt last year cause I thought we drafted well)
The last few years we've drafted Pugh, Richburg, Flowers, Bobby Hart and picked up Brett Jones, John Jerry and DJ Fluker in free agency. Yes, the play of our OL has been piss poor but to say the team hasn't addressed OL is an incorrect statement.

This Evan Engram pick got me confident in the offense. We have a cover -2 buster in Engram and Ellison. Engram splitting the safeties and Ellison run blocking. Crossing routes with OBJ and EE. Trips formation with EE, BM and Ellison in the redzone. It's a quick strike offense with weapons that can get open which gives EF tons of help. Healthy Pugh and Richburg. No Struggle Jennings. Paul Perkins should boost the running game. He makes something out of nothing. All the Rbs do. I feel EE should succeed in this offense. He has some dog in him. He will take some targets from Shep but idc. EE is a playmaker, more athletic and has more mismatch opportunities than Shep. :yeshrug:
