With near unlimited funds, he can really hurt a candidate, with minimal effort, throw 50 million in attack ads in their most vulnerable state. Or their most confident state. That's the issue with not only candidates who are billionaires, but the idea of money being so central to the entire process. Hundreds of millions of dollars.
