I liked bernie when i saw him on cspan ether greenspan. The line of attack was fantastic and music to my ears. To think its not ideology but just the person is laughable.
He's the one politician ive seen who is popular based soley on policies and ideals vs charisma.

Dude is not cool, super charismatic nor does he bring that twisted a$$hole admiration that trump has. He only has a genuine lifelong support of the issues he finds important. It just makes all the "cult" nonsense all the more easy to dismiss.

Napoleon when that apology coming? Tell your boy Marcus Johnson that I hear old bay goes great with crow meat :banderas:

Im anticipating him pivoting to saying he was voting for the interests of his constituents or something but that is not a sufficient answer tbh
The smart play would be going back to his state’s interests like the corporations Biden supported in Delaware.

His policies will help a lot of people. I just think he’s personally full of shyt :yeshrug: I would feel retarded calling people out for being rich while I’m living lavish myself. You’re not gonna change your viewpoint. I’m not gonna change mines. It’s cool to disagree.
Um, it's all relative isn't it? What's living lavish? What is the threshold, how much do you need to be worth to be in that category? Anyone in that category who supports Bernie's policies which include taxing the rich more and regulating business more is full of shyt?

Dude is only 37, so to write his political obituary now is a little premature breh. He was second to Bernie w/ the youth vote in IA/NH and won genX voters, so he has a good foundation to build on once Bernie's no longer in the picture. The key moving forward is of course building better bonds and trust w/ latinX/black voters. I think Pete at the very least will be a VP candidate one day.
He’s falling into the giant trap of “he isn’t viable because nobody I know thinks like him”. If that’s the case republicans and all moderate dems will get no votes/backing in 2024 :mjlol:

you don’t have to like him to admit he will have a lane in the future. It may not be a winning one but it will be one where he’s atleast a competitor for a decent amount of votes

It’s not. Putting a one term president into place leaves the door open into rage party being taken right back, or worse yet, the presidency being taken back by republicans

this “war on the party” mentality is so weird also...but carry on
Bernie likely only serving one term is irrelevant. All presidents are in danger of losing the election their second term.
And it's only weird if you think the Dem party isn't dysfunctional. They do not represent the interest of their constituency, pointing that out and saying you will is not 'war on the party', it is an attempt to turn the party into something that resembles representation of its constituency.

What would you do if you were Bernavelli the don?

He has every other candidate in the race saying on live tv that if he gets the most votes he shouldn’t be the nominee, the DNC trying to rig the first primary against him, and the complete disdain of the whole Democratic party-mainstream media-consultant-lobbyist industrial complex.
Word, we will unite the party after Bernie gets the nom free and clear. Until then foot remains on neck. :lolbron:

My tune hasn't changed. The average American is broke as fukk. If you worth $3 million and got three houses, you're rich.

And yea, I agree. Increase taxes. Increase social safety nets. Free college. Free healthcare. All that.

But I can do without a rich person acting like he's above other rich people. He's not Joan of Arc nikka. He went and got his. He's no different.

Rich person saying I will gladly pay more in taxes so that everyone can have healthcare and public college

:hula:

Person with 100 fold wealth of the first person who literally entered the race to prevent this from happening.

If you don’t see the difference here you’re not equipped to have the discussion

He is trying to win the nomination, aren't the "Establishment" rational actors who will vote blue no matter who? He is doing fine. lol

I would not antagonize establishment Dems or any other constituency that I'll will need on my side down the line. I'm up double digits, I have the left locked up, I'm a favorite in NV and I'm closing in on SC. This ain't the time to serve up red meat for my base, it's the time to expand the coalition and bring in new people. At the end of the day Bernie is not defeating Trump without moderates and/or establishment Dems on his side as voters and surrogates. You guys are smart enough to know this.
