Yea, they really do. I read a book in my Latin studies class about how they were given preferential treatment by the us government. They were treated better than Puerto Ricans who are natural citizens. Pretty much was another operation paperclip.

I went to University of Maryland and OMalley put a tuition freeze for my undergrad years from 2007-2011. Tuition was like $8,000 a year so each semester I got Pell Grants, State scholarships and an Arabic scholarship later which had me eating good and going to Egypt for free.250k in debt

I feel bad for many people with student loans but no one put a gun to that womans head and told her to go to a ridiculously overpriced undergrad without a grant/scholarship
Eliminating student debt would be good for the country and im for it but im sorry but some of these sob stories are just...idk a bit much

That example right there is why I think Bernie’s plan needs means testing. The median lawyer salary is well over $100,000. She can pay that shyt off herself.
