Let Biden try to beat Trump without the help of progressives. Hillary couldn't even do it with them in 2016.
Biden Boyz aint about that life. Keep advocating that cut of your nose to spite your fact" style rhetoric though.
this is true in the inverse as well...at the end of the day the dem party is divided, and the majority of the party is nowhere near the AOC/Bernie end of progressivism. One side or another is going to have to swallow their pride and support the other to get Trump out.

So to sum up. The Iowa caucus hasn't started and shyt is already scorched earth in the Democrats party.

Bernie's surrogate basically hung the corruption tag round Biden, so he is hamstrung for the general.
Bernie and Warren accused each other of lying. Neither looked good
Hillary came back like the ghost of politics past to shyt on Bernie.
And somewhere in the the NY Times tried to stay relevant by being confusing.

And we still aren't at peak fukkery.

Can you show me on the teddy bear where Hillary Clinton touched you inappropriately?

Gottdamn...:picard:
it's the part of the bear where all of this is entirely her fault for buying the 2016 nomination and then not delivering with a win

if she was gonna have the fukking audacity to blatantly buy that shyt off 8 years in advance, she should have damn well won the election :dead: instead, we weren't allowed to pick between any democrats besides hillary clinton, jim webb, and lincoln chafee. what a slap in the face

Yep. I know I repeat it a lot :yeshrug: but I said ages ago that Dems would probably infight themselves to another Trump term.

Sometimes I hate being right all the time :wow:

That's just the appetizer sampler

Two cooks just walked off the job and we got a long wait ahead for the main course meal of fukkery :eat:

It's too early to take polls too seriously IMO. Once the primaries are over, FOX News and right-wing media are going to go all in on Trump's opponent.

So whether it's Sanders, Biden, or Warren, most likely Trump is going to gain some ground in the polls (this happens with most incumbents). It's not that Trump is going to get any more popular, it's that the right is going to do their best to drag his opponent down to Hillary levels of unpopularity.

Sure. But I think the state polls will remain consistent unless something big happens...

Trump also has an untapped well of voters - 23M non-college educated white men did not vote in 2016. His campaign are trying to connect with these people to get them registered for 2020.
That's Brad Parscale's strategy. The issue is... which states will they turn out in?

You do know the Trump campaign has been calling Joe and Hunter Biden corrupt for months, right?

It's the whole reason for Ukrainegate happening and now impeachment.

They will do the Hillary Clinton strategy on Joe.. its obvious. Didn't take Zephyr Teachout writing an op-ed to shine that light. Joe's record is there for all of us to see.

trump supporters are also poor white people easily influenced by god, guns and racism...and dems have plenty of rich supporters as well. yall gotta stop seeing the world in terms of rich/poor without taking into account individual's beliefs/actions
individuals aren't the enemy, the system we enable to exploit folks and keep wealth concentrated is. if we could magically wave a wand and have a perfect economic system, i wouldn't give a shyt about millionaires and billionaires existing. yall have misplaced anger and tend to assert things about people once they start making over x-dollars, that's as dumb as the idea that everyone struggling is on the same team. "just cuz we the same color don't make you my brother"

If the Dem party is really telling the truth about picking anyone other than Trump, they should vote for Bernie no questions asked. The fact that their MAY be some more affluent Dems that may vote for Trump proves why a candidate's support system coming primarily from millionaires and billionaires matters. Many of them will woke signal for symbolic progress but when it comes to making sacrifices for the material needs of others, their righteous sensibilities become dormant.

I think the gist of it was that Bernie supporters are said to demonize educated people and consider them elitists, despite being educated themselves. :yeshrug:

Wasn't an accusation I made :hubie: just what I got reading thru the thread

That doesn't make the least bit of sense. One of Bernie's biggest proposals is eliminating college debt but they're gonna claim he's demonizing college education? The haters are literally flailing at this point.

I don't think going to college or being in academia automatically makes you right or a better person, but I'd love for anyone on this forum to come up with ANY time that I've ever demonized educated people. :why:

Finally put Nap on ignore. I can’t do this thread reading that shyt brehs
Yeah, after having him there for 3 years I took him off a few months ago when I purged my ignore list. He was one of the three guys who found themselves back on it. It's just a waste of time to ever have to skim over his posts.

I do, but it's infinitely different to members of your party calling you corrupt.

Despite Trump's BLATANT corruption, who in the GOP calls him corrupt?

Teachout knew what she was doing when she used that word. It was deliberate.
