Your takeaway from the failures of the Obama administration and the political aftermath it produces is that systemic critiques and remedies are overrated? That just going after the figureheads will be sufficient?

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m talking about the excuses made to give people like Obama a pass for the cowardly, awful elite-serving decisions they make (ex. continuing the bank bailout but giving no relief to mortgage owners who saw their wealth deteriorate) along the lines of he’s just trying to work in a system he can’t control.

The post I was responding to was saying people blame people too much instead of systems. I disagree. I believe the opposite.

No I don’t have proof. I’m sure Hunter Biden got paid 50k a month because of his expertise in energy.

Just like I’m sure his expertise in private equity got him that spot on the Chinese government-backed multibillion dollar company BHR, founded after the partners met with Joe, which he later bought 10% stake in.

This dude goes around the globe smoking crack and getting thots pregnant in between getting paid millions to be on international boards of directors. Some people just got it like that, I guess.
