Toxic Warren supporters turning their back on someone who fought so hard for them

They love crying sexism when people criticize her.

Her team probably saw that energy online & thought that trying to imply Bernie was sexist would help her & it's been a downhill spiral ever since :yeshrug:

Like I've said repeatedly, EVERY candidate has toxic supporters online. The fact that Bernie has the largest base makes it easier to spot for him, but every candidate has a clique of a-holes saying dumb things on social media.

You really gonna play dumb breh? :usure:

When she teamed up with bernie what her poll numbers look like? As she shifted to focusing on Bernie, she's tanked. And I'm not saying that to say "attacking Bernie hurt her" I'm saying that to say "she should have stayed attacking the candidates who could steal her support" aka Pete and Amy. Seems to me like Warren G's need to step back and examine why she tanked. If yall are still blaming her M4A plan not being what any actual wonks would suggest then please...look at where her support actually went. It went to Pete and Amy, not Bernie.

Edit: Let me add two caveats for those that really need exact accuracy. Bernie did take back some voters he lost after the heart attack, but that was related to proving he's healthy afterward. And now, Bernie is seeing some support from Warren head in his direction from people that are more focused on the policy side and see Warren as a sinking ship, but that was not the case when she collapsed. She lost her biggest chunk to Pete and Amy's coming on next.
This timeline is off to me. Her decline in the polls didn't coincide with any "attack" on Bernie, she tanked after that October 16 debate where she looked evasive af on the question of M4A tax raises. She thought releasing a funding plan and answering that issue substantively would allow her to stabilize and recover, but AOC's endorsement of Bernie after that debate gave him the juice to consolidate the left, which meant Warren's gamble failed and simultaneously her left flank fell out from underneath her and she lost right flank support because she didn't abandon M4A. Up to that point, she had not shifted to focusing on Bernie, she was riding with him. In fact, the first major attack she launched at another candidate after falling in the polls was the wine cave attack on Pete in the December debate. The first time she was ever critical of Bernie was in response to Iowa volunteer script on January 12th. The notion that she was riding high in the polls and decided to attack Bernie unprompted isn't supported by the facts.

Who said anything about dropping out? He’s a victim here of an obvious as fukk coordinated attack. Looking at the evidence and saying otherwise is bullshyt.
What was the coordinated attack?

And isn't that what inevitably happens to the front runner?

They get smeared.

It won't get any nicer.

Read my shyt back and show me where you got that assertion from because I've been trying to distance myself from that idea.

Amy, Warren, Pete & Biden all within an hour 'supporting' the culinary union from viscous attacks from Bernie fans.

The “twitter isn’t real life” crowd SURPRISINGLY tried to apply their twitter pronoun/everything is sexist bullshyt to real life. Didn’t work out well

Were the attacks from Bernie fans uncalled for?

To all the campaigns I would just say this. Look at what happened to momentum in the UK when they bombarded and bullied people online. It turned a lot of UK voters off.

There is understand the threat that Trump and his minions pose on social media, but when you go to far overboard yourself you don't help your cause.

You need to find a sweet spot.

People developed this belief because of how quickly every other candidate with delegates responded when the culinary union's letter about Bernie Supporters came out and the fact that apparently, they've all included a line that says "I stand with..." It's flimsy and I think it's more likely that everyone just saw an opportunity to try and siphon off some union support. But that's the origin of the belief.
