The schools of thought from this are amazing.

There is the group of moderates whose time as the leaders of the party seems to have faded.
, and who are resisting the inevitable...

There are progressives who are coming to terms with how to wield their new found power.

Then there is the group who thinks you need someone like Trump to fight Trump, and are casting their lot with Bloomberg.

Interesting times.
This is the same group

I can say that Bloomberg might be the only one I seriously think about not voting for. He’s legit racist.

I agree, he's a racist POS and I wouldn't really blame you:francis:

I'd hold my nose strictly for Supreme Court damage control and because he's not a climate change denier. But I don't want people to think i actually like Bloomberg or something :scusthov: I just want Trump out

the health/pharma/insurance industry needs a lot of checks, so i feel your point on greed & how they've gamed washington, but i think overhauling the private sector while also birthing a public option (hell, tax private sector health to help fund the public sector), i think we could find some sort of balance.
Yea, I think there is a happy medium but the problem with achieving it comes in what you spoke about earlier with the two party system. Then humans in general lacking empathy.

has bernie posted an explanation of what happens to the hundreds of thousands of workers who work at health insurance companies?

just from a pure impact standpoint, i wouldnt piss on an insurance company if it was on fire. but they're gonna hammer him on that too
TEMPORARY WORKER ASSISTANCE.—For up to 5 years following the date on which benefits first with BILLS become available as described in section 106(a), up
to 1 percent of the budget may be allocated to pro- grams providing assistance to workers who perform functions in the administration of the health insurance system and who may experience economic dislocation as a result of the implementation of this Act.

this is exactly why i think we need to have and public and private option. i definitely think people deserve access to health care regardless of employment status, even less empathic people (or at least some of them) can get behind that, you run into issue tho when you start telling americans you're taking away choice (unless it's a red state taking a away a woman's right to choose  )

Its funny how these dudes make so made so many nonsense arguments on how we need Liz in the race to somehow help beat centrists by splitting the progressive vote (:what:)

Now we see her decreasing ad spending in Nevada and SC while levying more criticism on bernie in that same race:francis: Liz campaign slowly dropping the veneer of presidential ambition and revealing itself to be sabotage effort we all know it was

Lmao at the dummies putting their money toward this. I dont ever wanna see yall in TLR talking about some damn scammers ever again. Even Tariq nasheed fans getting better returns:mjlit:
Glad I never donate a dime to her. She been gave off fugazi vibes to me, starting with when coming off of her work in the Obama admin when people wanted her to strike while the iron is hot and help usher in a new era of progressive Democratic politics, she chose to kiss queen Hillary’s ring for 4 or 8 years.

Bernie was like fukk it, I guess I gotta run cause there’s no one else. She’s been looking funny since then to me and never stopped. Her heel turn isn’t as surprising to me as many.

Actually we've been talking about billionaires buying off elections for years now. You just weren't paying attention.
Anyway, all your rich racist buddies are getting their shyt pushed in in every poll so honestly I'm not too worried about them.

holy fukk :laff: they're really gonna call him a commie for that

:ohhh: if Bernie wins I might have to get a job at a health insurance company and get laid off on purpose

Not having to work for five years :steviej:

:russ:If I worked for a private health insurance company and made a good salary, I would do everything in my power to stop this plan. I don’t trust the government to properly compensate people after they get laid off.
