They wanted Hilary and felt Hilary was the better candidate. And technically she did win. It took alot of fukkery to get Trump in office. Let’s not pretend that he destroyed her at the polls. He cheated. Heavily. And the Superdelegates don’t have to pick the candidate the people choose. That’s the entire point of them being Superdelegates. They’re there to be the adults in the room, to make sure the person that’s picked represents the culture of the party, isn’t simply an demagogue that uninformed voters were mesmerized by, and can actually win a general election. Let’s imagine a Democratic version of Trump was able to con and bullshyt his way to not having the majority but having the most pledged delegates. That nightmare could easily happen. You’re saying that person should win if he tricked enough people into believing his bullshyt. The superdelegates are there to say nah and put in the candidate that better represents the party. People are so quick to tear down institutions as if those institutions weren’t put in place for a reason by people who thought long and hard about the issue. Go look up what happen BEFORE superdelegates were a thing. And IIRC, Hilary had a shyt ton more superdelegates than Obama in 2008. He was such a once in a lifetime candidate that they all switched.

:heh: Why even bother voting? Why even have a democracy when our betters could select the leaders for us?

Such a bogus argument. :smh:

No wonder you don't know what you are talking about regarding politics. You aren't better than anyone, especially when it comes to voting. All your insider shyt is worthless. :mjlol:
Oh no, I absolutely am. Lets not get this twisted. What does "knowing what you're talking about" in politics means? Why can't I support what I think is beneficial and better in the long run?

You keep equating "winning fractured pluralities" with "the will of the people" and "what's best for them." Its not true.

Why lie about this?

I think sanders supports are being SWINDLED the same way Trump lied to people.

The "masses" just elected Trump, what kind of argument is this?
It's the misguided 'professional class' thinking they are superior to the rest of the nation. Newsflash: there are more regular down to earth people than hoity toity yuppies who went to a prestigious college. And some people who went to prestigious colleges and are leaders of their field no better than to put themselves above others. People with low self-esteem do that, it has nothing to do with how smart you are.

All politicians and people lie. But for what reason is what you should be looking at.
You don't believe in democracy, support who you want but know we have a representative government and you know take the temperature of the country before making predictions about the future. You can't seem to separate your preferred candidate to what will actually happen in real time and are very upset because of that. :mjlol:
